looks great. between this and the Superman #1000 figure, I think McFarlane has done a better job on Supes than Batman for this first wave.
Agreed. Both Superman figures look good.
Hey, I'm looking for a Superman to pose against my Super Armor Batman from The Adventures Continue line, I'm having trouble deciding between this Supe and the DC Collectibles Animated Justice League Superman. Wich one would you pick?
DC Collectibles Animated Supes, this one would be too big respectively .

They are not, I tried. Different sized pegs, different sized hands, different color flesh.

It appears that way.
So top heavy and so skinny legs.. is he able to stand without problem?
Definitely rough to stand at times.

I bought that same Superman figure at GameStop and it was the last one, I bought all those 6 figures at Walmart and at target 🎯 and at GameStop, and I also bought the Arkham asylum Batman and I also bought the Arkham asylum joker 🃏 I have all of them now.
I hope they do more Arkham figures!

If you like ‘em, get ‘em. They are very stylized, not for everyone.
Well, I'm gonna pass on this figure. He doesn't look 100% like the animated series character - everything is just off, in my opinion. First thing I noticed was his hair. The straight on camera shot showed Supe's hair in the back stuck out to the sides and he kinda looks like Elvis. Don't like the mark on his chin, the swooshing cape is disappointing, the chest symbol looks good - but, not accurate, and all of those joints make his body look weird. Plus, most of my figures are 6" in scale, so I don't really want to start a collection of 7" figures. That's because I use my 6" figures for stop-motion animations and I don't want to throw off the scale too much. Nit-picking, I know - but, I just prefer 1/12 scale.

Fair enough, I like the 7 inch scale, but I’m not super fond of this figure. These animated figures are way too stylized to fit in with anything else.
dHunter's Reviews But, I will say these figures look sturdier than the DC collectibles. The previous Multiverse series, however, are just as sturdy as Marvel Legends figures. I think DC Collectibles are made out of resin, so they break too easily.
Yes, these are much sturdier than DC collectibles. I would say they are about 90% as sturdy as Mattel DC universe classics.

Yeah, the body is oddly proportioned. It is more less accurate to the superman animated series look.

Yeah, but she’s a comic figure and Superman is an animated figure based off a specific look. The Bruce Timm animated styles garage large chests and skinny legs.
