Lebanon is stunning. I was there about eight years ago, people were so welcoming and friendly, and their food is succulent. It was a revelation for a Norwegian like myself. The ancient history of Lebanon is fascinating known as ancient Phoenicia, the land where the Alphabet was invented and the birthplace of Europe, born in beautiful Tyre, a very ancient city like Byblos. Greetings from a Norwegian in love with Lebanon, Greece and the Mediterranean world.
As a Lebanese who visited Norway I was also astonished about how the Norwegians were all so friendly and smiling and curious, and how beautiful the landscape and towns are. I also loved everything I ate there!
Hello sir , thank u for the touching words about my country but a small point to clarify about Lebanese people whcih is that they have nothing to do with Phoenicians since most of them came from the neighboring countries around lebanon like Syria, Iraq, Turkey, Greece ,Palestine etc... so the most breed related to Phoenicians are most of the Beiruty families who are rooted since ages there until the 1920s when the ottoman Empire was wiped out and Beirut 7 gates(which one of them carried my family name) where opened by the French/British colonialists etc...a long story. Thank u
Beautiful country beautiful people. Lebanese people are very welcoming and generous by nature. This is how they are wired. This is how they want everyone to see them. Having spent much time there, I say it's a beautiful country that has everything a person could want. Dramatic landscapes, scenic towns, villages and beaches, a long history (an archeologists dream), and the most hospitable people you can meet anywhere. But unfortunately its also a land of contrasts. Sadly there is major corruption, poverty, injustice, pollution, and division. If the all the latter can be overcome, Lebanon would a paradise on earth.
Living here in Canada, I had no idea that Lebanon is so varied and interesting. It's not just bombed-out buildings and poverty stricken communities (that's what we see on our local news stations). Those Roman ruins are worth the visit in themselves. And happy (belated) birthday Malini.

Wow...much respect to Lebanon. I'm an American Christian and like what they've done for the Church there. I have to admit that I am taken aback by this. Glad I decided to learn more about Lebanon. Thank you!
Thanks. I'm Lebanese American (fully Lebanese by heritage). We are Phoenician Canaanites (proven by dna). This is according to historians, and they say this because they invented and spread the alphabet, ultimately to the rest of the world. We also created a maritime trading network that bridged everybody across the Mediterranean. And set up port cities in Spain, Italy, Cyprus, and North Africa. these locations are the most covered by documentaries but the truth is it's barely 5% of what the country has to discover.. so many spot to check which aren't as "popular" among youtubers
Thanks for this journey, it recalls me so much souvenirs and happy moments . Indeed history, spirituality, people and food are the keys to discover this incredible country 😀
Lebanon is one of my most favorite visiting country. I’ve been there several times and visited many cities and towns. I hope if I could find a job there and relocating to Lebanon, but unfortunately, this beautiful country always suffering from different troubles inside 😢.

I love the way you express these beautiful Countries, definitely unique & different from the rest. Will be visiting this lovely gem Beirut & Tripoli in May right after Cairo. Thank you so much Malini. I believe you are in Istanbul now, hope you are safe from the Earthquakes. Lots of love to you and the crew. Awesome Job!
You are doin😢g a great job by promoting 🇱🇧. I was there in May and from all my travels, it's a country that made it to the top on my list. Absolutely loved it and would love to visit there again. There's a lovely Silk Museum to visit. Unfortunately, the media has made this beautiful gem in the Mediterranean region appear as nothing but a mountain of dust but when you visit the Cedars in Chouf and the Cedars of God in Bsharri, you can tell it's a divine experience. The country is blessed with beauty, nature, amazing cuisine, resilient peopke and great vibes despite the challenges.
So glad I've discovered this channel, quality documentary something we'll normally see on paid TV reminds me of Bettany hughes, the cinematography, your delivery is top notch, tired of other travel channels who focus more on themselves and their looks than the actual travel location that was suppossed to be the highlight of the content 😂. I met an older couple from Lebanon at the bus stop (very nice people) several months ago - they are refugees and this made me curious about the country we're they come from. I try to understand their background, when they are talking to me. Thank you for giving me a little idea of it!
A big Thank you for sharing such a beautiful videos with full in information about the historicL Places, buildings, castles, churches, mosques, religions , culture, and people of the visited places.
LISTEN! We are NOT Arabs. Can't you tell just by using your eyes? Do we look like Saudis or Yemenis? We are genetically a different population. We're a white Mediterranean population, born from the Phoenicians. The Phoenicians were Canaanites, and had Mediterranean DNA (Canaanite, Greek, Caucasian). Genetic studies have proven we don't have any Arab dna. Plus, Christians here don't follow any Arab culture. Even Lebanese Muslims have a uniquely Lebanese culture. So get it right, don't call us Arabs. We are just Lebanese. We speak Arabic yes. But that is not our identity, that's only our language. We also speak French as a second language and English. These are just languages. Our identity is Lebanese.
@@freepaganPhoenician, isn’t that the bullshit Christian Lebanese keep bringing up all the time? Meanwhile most of the Lebanese they claim more identity from declaring their religion rather than anything else. Isn’t this why this country is fundamentally broken?
I don't comment much. But your videos are amazing . Thank you. They are educational, informative, fun and raw. Don't change. Traveling learning about cultures brings people of all nations together! Thanks again.

Its a paradise..the ruins are absolutely captivating..more than surprised..blown away.. traditional...thats good!.. beautiful..best wishes of all good things to the people of Lebanon ❤
these locations are the most covered by documentaries but the truth is it's barely 5% of what the country has to discover.. so many spot to check which aren't as "popular" among youtubers
I'm Lebanese and proud 🇱🇧
Thanks for this journey, it recalls me so much souvenirs and happy moments . Indeed history, spirituality, people and food are the keys to discover this incredible country 😀
Lebanon is one of my most favorite visiting country. I’ve been there several times and visited many cities and towns. I hope if I could find a job there and relocating to Lebanon, but unfortunately, this beautiful country always suffering from different troubles inside 😢.
Beautiful video! Thank you for showing us a Lebanon beyond what we read in the press! ❤
I hope visit egypt 😘
Where are you from?!
Good
😊
I was in lebanon 2 years.. it's one of the very beautiful country in the world. And also people in lebanon are very good & they gave foreigners warm welcome and good respect.. I wish to go there again..
They are indeed!
Thank you and your cameraman friend for presenting Lebanon to us with a documentary taste from a different. Good luck. 👋👋👌👍👍😊🤗
The wine 🍷, food, weather is out of this world. I had lot of university friends from Lebanon 🇱🇧. Great place to visit.
More success to your show🔥
yes indeed , i wasn't expecting such deep and fulfulling documentary about each place in Lebanon .. apparently Malini makes deep research about every place to give the viewers the impression of living the past and present of the country ..great effort🙏
I got here through a Lebanon in crisis video what comparison. Such a beautiful country I wish the people there strength and peace through this difficult time. Arohanui ❤❤😍😍💪💪
Save Lebanon 🇱🇧 ♥️
Noone if you attack Israel then Israel will not leave that country fact
I met an older couple from Lebanon at the bus stop (very nice people) several months ago - they are refugees and this made me curious about the country we're they come from. I try to understand their background, when they are talking to me.
Thank you for giving me a little idea of it!
Thanks for sharing!
A big Thank you for sharing such a beautiful videos with full in information about the historicL Places, buildings, castles, churches, mosques, religions , culture, and people of the visited places.
Love to Lebanon from Pakistan, jewel of Arab world.
@@freepagan well said brother love from INDIA❤️
@@freepaganWell said. It is crazy even Egypt they called it Arab but in reality Egyptian are African.
@@freepaganPhoenician, isn’t that the bullshit Christian Lebanese keep bringing up all the time? Meanwhile most of the Lebanese they claim more identity from declaring their religion rather than anything else. Isn’t this why this country is fundamentally broken?

As a Iranian I see Lebanon and The Lebanese as strong lighthearted, resilient people who deserve compassion and light
It shatters and pains my heart to see the Beautiful, most hospitable people suffer in the hands of an evil Zionist regime 👟🇮🇱
