Bought this tuner for my 2010 Chevy Tahoe 5.3L
Just a simple (and long) unboxing and initial installation video with a few feature descriptions.

Hey man, enjoyed the video but I have one thing that's irking me... I heard that you bought the tuner mainly to turn off the D.O.D. system, right? I just wanted to ask about that and discuss the problems you've had, heard, or experienced with it. I'm getting one of these on New Years Eve from Summit, and I'm planning on running that MPG booster tune with the D.O.D. left on.
That tune seem's like it's gonna be the one I run for a while due to how much I drive, and the truck being bone stock. depending on the information you give me I may switch up my plan.

It has a couple (or three) preinstalled tunes in it, and when you're choosing a tune you have the option to change different things such as switching off the DOD/AFM.
I've noticed that the MPG tune does make the truck seem a little weaker, but the "Diablo" tune definitely gives you a little more power. Between the two tunes, I did a 0-60 and gained a whole second and a half on the Diablo tune.
The transmission tune is also nice because sometimes I do a lot of city driving, and sometimes I do a lot of highway driving.
When I'm in the city, I change the Park/Idle RPM to 525rpm and while in gear at a stop I have the idle at about 550rpm so it's less stress on the torque converter.
There is a lot you can change, but I also paid for a custom tune which I haven't really spent a whole lot of time running because I'm still figuring out what is best for the way I drive and the environments that I drive in.

Is there any difference on install between the one you have and mine which is for 2017+? Just wondering.

No idea... I'm guessing there are a lot of differences between the 2010 and 2017 Tahoe's.

Does it have trans temp readout?

Dude... The vehicle itself has a trans temp gauge... (Assuming your vehicle is optioned with the D.I.C. D.river I.nformation C.enter)
