Relacing gives you 2 benefits in my case. First, replacing the stock lacing with skate lace reduces the "spring" of the pocket since skate lace isn't elastic at all. Additionally, by re-lacing, you can make the pocket a little deeper and more absorbing. Both together creating less pop-outs.

And also if there's an over head camera you can hide a goal if it's over the line barely lol.
