Thank you for this awesome review ! i just bought the black and yellow one but could not find any in depth reviews. I'm glad it got your approval - looks like i will be keeping it.
@@CarsWithKeav I found it on Amazon listed under the company, Nvuiqgs. That's with a Q and G for the spelling. Same product just different company now.
I bought the solo and the SPTA battery based on YT influence. The SPTA failed by leaking for unknown reasons and product support none. The solo was dropped and broke immediately. I reached to Solo. Got replacement but it doesn't perform like the one I broke and the model disconnected.
I hate to hear that. Have dropped my solo several times as I’m clumsy and still runs. Might have been the perfect angle to break. My SPTA has the leak out the bottom as well.
Hey, nice idea with the mobile compressor on the foamer! Talking about the IK Foam Pro 2+ Is there a way to swap out the "little" 1.25L tank for a 2L tank? Do you know by any chance what the dimensions are from the tank closure? How can I find a 2L tank that would fit?
@@uxrealkev Its possible I have done it before, but you have to be very light with the coat and coverage won’t be very good. So not sure it’s really effective to clean as the whole surface won’t be covered evenly.
Hey Keav! I've got a crazy question for you. This would be more directed at the clear bottle foamer, but could apply to either one. Since these types of foamers don't rely on pressurizing the tank, would it be possible to remove the liquid container/bottle, add a much longer draw tube (maybe 3-4 feet...longer if necessary) to the foam spray head, and have the other end of the added longer draw tube simply placed into a separate container (ie, a milk jug)...and the sprayer still function the same? That way, your container of chemicals could be on the ground while using the sprayer. Doing so could accomplish 2 things. A) it would make using the sprayer head much more maneuverable (not having the bottle bumping into things...like the ground while spraying wheels/tires). Also, it would remove some of the weight from the hand that is using the spray head. Since these types of sprayers don't use a pressurized tank, it seems rational that it would work. Any thoughts? Maybe a nice test to do? Thanks buddy!
Yes, for most of these that are electric pumps that will work just fine. I have only seen a few that have a ventilation like the Griots. The clear and black and yellow one don’t seem to have one. The black and yellow one works well when I tested it just pulling from the bottle without being screwed on. The clear one the battery was dead so had not had a chance to test it.
Would love to know how they would hold up with products being left in them. I use Adams Polishes Tire and Rubber cleaner to do my tires and I would love to know if it was kept in one of these how long would it be before something inside broke down and failed.
Good thing for these the bottles are hdpe plastic. My only concern would be product left in the spray head. I usually clean out the heads with distilled water, but didn’t with the spta foamer and that brake buster ate through that o ring. Big flaw with the pump being below the tank.
@@CarsWithKeav So with those 2 you detailed I wonder if I just took the head off and let the pump run for a couple of seconds until nothing was coming out if that would be enough of a "clean out".
I like your IK setup, might have to try that out.. can you answer a question for me? In one of your videos you had a nozzle holder that mounted to the front of the gun, where did you get that and what is it called? Been trying to find the video.
All of these do come with replaceable filters. IK and some others come with extra ones. Most of them are just cut out pieces of foam or scotch brite pad material. Mostly depends on upkeep rinsing out the top by running some distilled water so soap doesn’t gunk the filter. I have no changed the one in my IK ever and it’s been two years.
Usually yes not best to shake it’s better to stir it around. Depends a lot on how full the bottle is and the pickup tube being in the liquid and not picking up any suds.
@@CarsWithKeav Pump works beautifully with my wireless tire inflator! No need to pump. Inflator has a silicone case with velcro straps to keep it in place.
I just installed a tire valve in my ik foamer and it doesn't seem to have an overpressure valve like their compressed air models do. What psi should I run it at do you know?
I don't know what they were thinking with that thing. They were pushing it big at SEMA, but you don't hear them saying anything about it anymore. Probably one of the worst product launches they have done. Nobody in their QA and research had to have been paying attention. LOL
@@ELCHIQUILIN69 just did a review on a cheaper one that lasted almost 40 minutes. Won’t be much of anything out there that would last that long. Outside of the IK efoam pro12.
Why do a lot of people call it Amazon stuff......its all Aliexpress stuff. Why do people shop at amazon? while China is the source and cheaper? I really dont understand why people do Amazon. But...great review!!
It’s all preference and most just prefer the no hassle buying experience with Amazon. Ali express has return limits per month and only free returns if the seller chooses. Also, when it comes to helping pay for these reviews you would not make enough pushing Aliexpress links as you would probably get 5 times less click through to Aliexpress. Just the nature of the beast really. Agreed though many of these type of products would be cheaper through Aliexpress.
The black foam sprayer from Amazon is trash. It foams well when you get the ratio right but will fail after about a dozen or so uses. The trigger design is crap. Water will eventually seep around the rubber no matter what you do. Overtime this will start to damage the circuit underneath the button, which will cause the sprayer to start spraying and not stop. If they make a revision to fix this issue it will be a great little sprayer but till then, it is a hard pass.
Weird mine has been going strong since this video and with harsh chemicals. I do clean the head out after every use like I do all my sprayers. Hopefully it’s isolated have not heard any other complaints.

128/1 or 256/1 would be a better option for diluting
Those dilutions work as well just the foaming with these devices was not as good.
Another great review Keav. The best is when things are better than you expect them to be.
Agreed, my expectations were not very high having to deal with the Griots. LOL
That black & yellow foamer was pretty impressive to be honest. Ty for sharing!
It was way better than expected.

Keav, for the IK, you installed the compressor for the 12 onto the foam pro 2+ ?
No it’s a Fanttik x8 inflator and I created my own Velcro strap. The compressor from the 12 is almost the size of the 2+ so it’s too big to use.
I have the ik fp2+ setup with a tire inflator.
