I'd highly recommend everyone watch Turkish drama "Magnificent Century - Kosem" or "Magnificent Century - Hurrem" before visiting this palace of Sultans...
Even better if you read the real history because although the show takes place in the palace but the characters are kind of portrayed wrongly. The real history is way more refreshing and you'll love the character of Suleiman and Hurrem from real history.

For 1500 liras, no not worth it
For me I thought it was worth the 1500 ( $47) only because I didn’t know much about the place but you could just go in and check it out.
