I love being a stay at home mom. I love being a house keeper. I love cooking and cleaning the kitchen and making things from scratch. However sometimes those things lose their luster, and I forget how wonderful they are because I do them all. the. time. I come back to your channel and watch a video or two while I fold laundry or cook. Once the video(s) are over, all I want to do is put on a cute outfit, fix my hair, and clean my house as gracefully and diligently as you do. My kids (almost 1, 2, and 3.5) don't allow for much focused clean time, but I love doing it when I can and including them when they want to. Thank you, Sarah!
Lucy, thank you so much for sharing this!
I’m a homemaking grandma and remember the small child phase. I remember being tired, delighted, frustrated and so incredibly in love with my daughters. - all at the same time!
I wanted to encourage you that you are doing an amazing job Mama!
I’ve been subscribed since you were living in a tiny home with three little kiddos. I’m a stay at home mom with the same beliefs and goals. I’ve always found your videos very inspiring and informative. I’m so glad you are back!
My sister came up with a squash cracker recipe.
3 cups of cold mashed squash (I use butternut & beat it in the mixer.)
3/4 cup room temp coconut oil (I use tallow for a more crispy cracker)
1 cup seasame seeds
1 cup chia seeds(optional)
3 cups of flour (I use gluten free)
2 tablespoons baking powder
1-1.5 tablespoon sea salt
Medley of crushed herbs - my favorite are sage, rosemary, thyme, black pepper, parsley.
Mix the squash and the oil together quickly until well combined, then mix in all the other ingredients.
Roll dough between 2 sheets of parchment paper to about 1/8 inch thick, trim & score into squares. Sprinkle tops with more salt & slide parchment paper/crackers onto a pan & into a 375 oven until crispy, about 35 min depending how thin the crackers are.
Let cool & enjoy!
Friendly reminder to everyone watching that you are still a good parent if you dont spend your time making sourdough 24/7.
You are blowing my mind with the powdered sugar and the ginger juice mold trick! Amazing pro tips! Thank you!!
Hey, I make breadcrumbs at home too, but I use dry bread, which makes the process much easier. Just put any stale bread or scraps in a paper bag until you collect a decent amount. They will dry in paper bag, you could also use any other breathable storage. Then break it into the blender and blits. You're welcome 😊
Sarah for the ginger juice- if you wanted to stretch your use of the ginger, you could dehydrate the leftover ginger root pulp in the oven to dry it out then blend to a fine powder.
Wow, I was just watching videos about pantry stocking looking for ideas, now you upload this. Thank you! I love your style muuuuch better.
Love the icing sugar tip! I've been making my own brown sugar for a few months and will definitely be making icing sugar this way from now on!
You are amazing! I love your passion for all that you do! I am older and I get tired looking at all that you do. I wish I was like that when I was raising my family, you’re doing such a good job.😊
I wish watching you make things would physically make them in my home simultaneously 😂
The granola bars were a huge hit in our house! Thank you for sharing 💌
Ooh I've been wanting to make granola bars from scratch. I made an oat bar last week but they didn't quite hit what I'd been going for. I don't have any children (and I'm vegan) but I do like to make things from scratch and appreciate your content - especially on sourdough!
Ahh Sarah!! I love this so much and I’m so obsessed with your content. Thank you for being such an inspiration to me and so many other girls. I love your homemaking and cooking videos so much. Ilysm and I hope you’re having an amazing day/ week 💕
Don't be obsessed over human sinful be obsessed with JESUS
Same!! I am so encouraged my Sarah’s videos!!
Sarah this video came at such a good time for me! One other thing about LMNT is that electrolytes can really help people with chronic illnesses. I've been taking mine for about 2 months and feel a world of a difference. Excited to try that sample pack, I was super curious about the chocolate flavors! It's really inspiring to watch you in the kitchen as well.. definitely makes me want to try making more things from scratch. I'm gluten free so bread seems like a terrifying world to step into... but you make your sour dough look like so much fun.
Sarah, I use to watch your videos a long long time ago before you took your channel down. I had sent you a letter saying I was so grateful for your vidoes because I have Multiple Sclerosis and I cannot get out of the chair anymore and your videos gave me something to look forward to. Thank you for doing videos again, God bless you and your family! Please reupload your old testimonial video because it was so so good and I think young children would be blessed to see it! Again, God bless you! Much love to a sister in Christ!
I’m a work-out-of-the-home mama and live vicariously through you since my dream would be to stay at home with my babies. ❤
Omg I’m so glad you posted this! Just had my son (( 9 months)) and I’ve been thinking of how to make snacks for him when he gets older!
Oh a how to store video would be nice. Thanks you!
girllll the shade of your Nail polish ASAP😍😍😍😍
This was a fantastic video! I feel inspired and equipped with new knowledge, thank you Sarah!
Recently found your channel and really enjoy your content.
This was such an eye opener. I never thought of doing these things. And how many times did I run outta breadcrumbs but had the bread 🤣 Thank you!
I juice my ginger and make tea with it too. Makes me feel so good.
I never thought about blending my own sugar to make powdered sugar 😮
Sarah can you do a video about sourdough for beginners? Love you channel.❤
Hi Sara do you freeze the bread crumbs and croutons or do you just leave it out in a container
Excellent. I enjoy the step by step process.
Great info, great delivery, and of course cute haircut and amber / gold eyes!
Great! I so want to make croutons now.
Grabbing a coffee and sitting to watch this ❤
What brand is your olive oil, the bottle with the yellow label? I trust your choices!
Terra Delyssa! Super affordable, I’ve been using it for years (I just get it from walmart!)
Which juicer do you have? :)
wow such great recipes! thanks for the pantry inspo
Tried to find the juicer you had in your storefront but couldn’t find it.
How do you store your granola bars?
I love all your videos. !
So here for this.
Good ideas
“For a couple days”… how often do you shower? 😅
What did you do with the ginger discard?
Molly has grown so much!
How long do these items stay in the pantry?
I love your apron! The color is beautiful. Where is it from??
Wonder Linen. It's a Lithuanian Etsy shop but they ship worldwide.
I love your videos, thank you for sharing. Also, what brand is that blue pod, I love it! In the hunt for one I can also bake my sourdough bread in lol
Could you please share your tomato soup recipe with the world again. :) It was my favorite! And would love to make it again.
Great video 😊
What brand juicer are you using? I didn’t see it in your Amazon storefront. Thanks n
I want to know too 😂
It’s more like a shortbread savoury cookie hey
Do you have the recipe written out somewhere?
“Boughten”
I cringe every time she says it and I'm not even a grammar native, it sounds so ignorant
Bonjour
J'aime énormément vos vidéos.j'aimerai savoir si vous faites toujours du tricot ?
Haha. Edmund 😀
The bun recipe video you linked is not a discard. We are desperate for good discard recipes.
Your hair is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L
How do you stay so thin after eating all that bread and butter?
They're eating them together.
Bread and butter is what humans have survived on for thousands of yrs..... its toxic store bought breads with seed oils making people sick and fat..
❤
I’m not sure if you’re still eating gluten free. I know you started to make sourdough because you could tolerate it. I’m recently GF and extremely sad to be giving up my sourdough baking. I’m just curious that I notice you’re using AP flour. Is it GF? Or just regular? Have you found a way to tolerate sourdough baking entirely (your buns, etc)?
Did anyone catch the gonola bar recipe
1/3 c salted butter
1/2 c brown sugar
1/4 c honey
a little vanilla
medium heat, bubble and thicken, then mix in
1 1/2 c quick oats
1 1/2 c crispy rice cereal
a little cinnamon
3 Tbsp ground flaxseed
press into pan with buttered spoon, she adds dark chocolate chips chopped up or use mini chips. put in fridge for a couple hours until hard then slice
@@heathero2l thank u
@@jennsude4794you're welcome! i was thinking they sounded yummy too!
Please don't say, "boughten." No such word. Other than that, your new style of videos is very enjoyable. You seem grounded and happy.
It actually is a word. I had to look it up because I have never heard anyone use it except for her.
I would say bought however apparently boughten is also used in some dialects. Both are correct 😊
I was wondering if it was maybe a Canadian thing?
Boughten is a word
@@youtubeacc I stand corrected. But it is considered "non-standard," in that most people don't use it. It's kind of a miswest dialect thing, I guess. But I maintain that if you are learning English and learning to conjugate the verb "to buy" you would learn has bought and have bought, no boughten.
It just all feels fake
You must like that
You don’t have to watch🙂
You watch all Sarah's videos and always comment negatively... I truly encourage you to unsubscribe and block yourself from her social media. She does not seem to help you maintain a healthy headspace or emotional state.
@@dreamchord4544 I heard a thing one time that really stuck with me. Negativity/holding a grudge against someone is like drinking poison and expecting THEM to die.
@@dreamchord4544 lolz nah I am good. Don’t worry sweetheart
