Thanks 🙏, that winch is a great addition to the tractor for sure! He started me off young, and he’s always willing to help out and it’s appreciated!

The Kioti does pretty good. I like all the video angles you get, great job. Maine North Woods Hunter (Shane)

Thanks man! The little Kioti is a great tool, probably one of the best purchases I’ve made.

Thanks, Andy, nice vid. I don't have much poplar on my land, for which I count myself lucky. Glad you got some good logs from yours, but here, I find that by the time they're big enough to be any good for size, they're no good for quality.

Thanks! You are lucky. I’ve been hitting the poplar kinda hard on my land to try and get what quality is left to the big ones. Once these blow downs are off the ground I will move on to fir 🌲 and spruce.

@@dstevenpaisley I hear ya, I burn what I can and make boards out of most of it. Unfortunately I have a lot of mature poplar on my property I’m trying to make use off that’s far gone…

Just discovered your channel. I do have a question. With your tractor being a hydrostatic does it give you any trouble with pulling out the trees. I was warned to stay away from hydrostatic tractors if your pulling alot . I was told to get a gear tractor instead. You have more pulling power with a gear tractor I was told. But you seemed to have no trouble. Thanks and great video.

      Hey! Thanks for watching!
That’s a dam good question! I was told the same about hydrostatic, I tried getting a gear drive but hst was only available at my dealer at the time. (of you know what). I’ve been running this tractor to its limits for 450+ hrs without any issues. I just use low gear to do any heavy pulling. Haven’t had anything to complain about so far. Unless something changes I don’t regret the hst, especially when using the loader.

@@CentralMaineOutdoorsman Thanks! I'm up in eastern Ontario Canada, I was told the same thing at our local Kubota dealer. He said they hardly sell gear drive ones. And there wasn't any available then. ( A few years ago) There are a few used ones around to buy, but they are usually snatched up pretty quick. It's good to know that your tractor is performing well for you. Thanks again.

Basically….Mine is a Sundown GR40. I believe same idea just different manufacturer. Great grapple! Even decent for brush

@@CentralMaineOutdoorsman I saw the decals on the side of it, but since I've never heard that name before, I thought maybe that was a distributor decal. Looks identical to the Frost Bite though. I'll be getting mine this week I think. I need it bad. I've been using a set of forks to move logs while I waited for what seemed like FOREVER for my dealer to get my 3rd function parts in. Mine is going on a Kioti RX 7320.
