I hope you two know I look forward to these every Monday. I work from home and prop my phone up on my desk and it makes Mondays just a little bit better 😊
I’m a third shift office cleaner and I play them on my blue tooth speaker so I can hear them every where. I find both their voices calming as I suffer from anxiety and depression. Thank you to the cool dude dad’s club! ❤ I sympathize with Nick in his depression, and I was so glad that he addressed it on the podcast. ❤❤❤
Nick, good on you for calling Tim out for not listening to you, and voicing how it made you feel. I think that’s very mature communication that not many can handle voicing. I’m neurodivergent and act a lot like Tim a lot of the time- I get hyper focused on facts and being correct, and sometimes I forget to be aware of how that may make the others around me feel. It took me a long time to learn that what I thought was just me wanting to share facts with people can sometimes feel like a dismissal of feelings. It’s a hard line to walk! I love seeing how the two of you communicate as people whose brains work so differently from one another.
Listening to Tim talk at length with another adult is interesting. Jenn has called him out a few times for making up things he presents as totally factual and for interrupting her when she is trying to make a point. I am glad that Nick is standing up for himself too in this duo.
We tune into this podcast to watch Tim being Tim. He does not need to be reprimanded for being himself. Nobody would tune in to listen to Nick without Tim.
Please continue doing this podcast it’s amazing all the information that you provide about the parks that I didn’t even know, I always look up for Monday to listen to both of you.
Omg best episode ever!!! This is the vibe you guys have when you are in the parks together and exactly what I have been hoping would come to the podcasts once you found your groove ❤
3:40 was my favorite part of the episode! 🔥 🔥 🔥 Tim sings all the time, I can’t believe you haven’t noticed. I actually enjoyed the unhinged version, you had to pay attention and who knows what will happen next….. great entertaining job!
We are in Ontario, Canada and most school boards have switched PD days for the kids to April 8 since we are in the path of totality for the eclipse and it's suppose to happen around 3:12pm which is right around dismissal time. We've already got our special glasses to view the eclipse, and are pumped!!! :)
Former Ohioan here! Cedar does not open till May!!! The best place to see the Solar Eclipse will be in Avon, Ohio with is about an hour from Cedar Point. You both should still go at some point though their coasters are great!!! Love the podcast!!!
I'm a mobile worker. I sit in my van on my lunch and watch these all week. Such a good watch/listen. What's funny is that on paper... this relationship shouldn't work...but it does, brilliantly....
Wow. I’ve laughed out loud at EVERY episode and this one- no different. Nick- I know last episode was tough- so happy you shared. Tim- your humour knows no bounds. 😂😂😂
I think we perpetuate societal norms around being good at one subject and then somehow inherently deficient in another [18:37]. It would be great to empower students about the different ways to learn that might unlock their abilities. I know I grew up thinking I was on the Language Arts side of the fence and Math was not my thing. Fast forward to the workplace where I realized it was never about my ability but on finding the right way to learn and practice it. Now I love working in Excel as much as I love writing tutorials. Time to change these stereotypical boxes we put ourselves and the next generations into. I also love Tim's point about neurodiverance, which is more reason to consider the different perspectives and how Universal Design for Learning can help build more equity between traditional learners who have more ideal resources and learners who need more flexibility and creative ways to learn [23:45].
I'm loving this podcast! I get excited to listen/watch every week. Going back to the start, it's like every week I think I'm more Tim and then the next I'm a Nick... This week I'm for sure a Tim because I AM THAT FRIEND (or co-worker, etc) where everyone has heard me sing but I don't hear anyone sing. I'm pretty ADHD and I will often sing what I'm thinking or make up little songs or words to the tune of a song. I'm also pretty extroverted. It's probably more likely that kids who took choir or singing in school voluntarily might be more comfortable singing in public or amongst others in general. My husband has NEVER sang in my presence unless it's that weird high-pitched-low-volume man sing in the car along with a rock song (someone here knows that I mean... it's like sad and weird and only when a rock singer does falsetto and THAT is the time your husband decides to try and sing?)
Dreammore is the resort near Dollywood. We stayed there and it was great! The song in the capsule is just stored in the resort now, not written for the resort, but so cool.
I’m a Pisces too, Tim, and love my alone time. I think Pisces are known to be loners. Don’t get me wrong, love being around people too, but I will go most places alone and be totally happy.
I live half way between Marceline and Branson in the Lake of the Ozarks area. We moved here from Florida a year ago. We got Silver Dollar City annual passes and go quite a bit. Christmas in SDC is absolutely breathtaking! I think the roller coaster Tim was trying to remember is Wildfire. One of my kids’ favorites for sure. We can’t wait for the new Fire In The Hole opens next month! We haven’t made it to Marceline yet but hope to soon. We want to see where the old Disney Studios were in Kansas City as well so might wait until the traveling Disney100 exhibit is there in May and do a weekend trip up that way.
Tim needs to keep teaching Nick about music. I love the random music and band talk that Tim whips out. I can tell we had similar backgrounds. I was sitting here yelling at my screen about They Might Be Giants and Tiny Toons.
This was FOR SURE your funniest episode guys...not even kidding! The whole singing part of the Podcast had me with tears in my eyes from laughing so hard! 😂 Loved the unhinged episode, please keep em coming! 😜
Great episode Nick & Tim… and that last second Tim Tracker vlog homage quote had me bursting out laughing; Tim! I can barely stop the laughing tears; lol ❤😂
I live 3 hours from Branson, love SDC! also the total eclipse is coming over my town for over 4 mins of darkness! we are being told to stock up on everything a few weeks ahead!
Missourian here! Marceline, Missouri is about 4 hours away from Branson, Missouri. There isn’t away to do both Marceline and Silver Dollar City in the same day. Fire in The Hole is at SDC and they have reimagined and are moving the ride to their Fireman’s Landing area.
Utahraptor were the inspiration for the raptor design in Jurassic Park they were discovered in 1991 two years before the movie's release and a year before production began. They used the name velociraptor as it sounds scarier (but they were tiny) So they knew about large raptors well before the movie!
the one at Dollywood is called Blazing Furry. It use to be a water ride with a plash at the end. Also Dollywood does it up right for every season. My favorite time to go is Spring because they have a Floating Umbrella sky.
Fire in the hole in Silver Dollar City is the one that is closed at the moment. We used to go to that theme park all the time, so much fun. Also, Tim and my daughter have the same birthday! 🎉
Hey Tim! The song you were playing on your son’s piano is not Frère Jacques, but it’s called Alouette. These are French songs. I’m from Quebec. Really enjoy your podcast!😊
Hi Tim and Nick! I love your podcast and individual content so much! You and your families are such kind and genuine people! Your content has also gotten me through a lot - thank you!! I love how you talked about the enneagram this week. I actually just took a class at my university about the enneagram. If you would be interested, I would love to answer questions you have about the enneagram - neurodivergent numbers, enneagram and love languages, how numbers interact, how people "choose" their number, and so much more. Let me know if you have questions, I would love to answer them!
Lincoln. We need a warning so we can turn off our Bluetooth speakers when Tim sings. We don’t want our neighbors calling the Popo. There’s thinking there’s an emergency in my house.😂😂😂 just kidding once again, another podcast from the two of you made my day
Back to the colors for subjects, my daughter’s sixth grade teachers required a certain color for each of their subjects. Even now as a sophomore in college she still associates them. Language Arts=blue, Science =green, Math=red, Social Studies =yellow
Future of the podcast: Tim and Nick hit the road. Nick and Tim take Tim's new rv to Dollywood, Silver Dollar City, and Marceline. Recreating scenes from A Goofy Movie along the way.
The song "they might be giants" is on my do not play list lol. My daughter plays it all the time. My daughter is neurodivergent and she also has a very good memory. She's non-verbal so I cant ask her about her core memories, but times when we go to Disneyland, she tends to veer towards her favorite things or places.
Nick you will have to let Lucas know that they are doing are sequel to Camp Cretacious. All they have said so far is 2024 but it's called Jurassic World: Chaos Theory and will have the characters from Camp but older. And I'm from TN and live in OK now so i grew up going to Dollywood and now go to SDC fairly often. They are similar but Dollywood will always have NY heart especially with the steam engines and their cinnamon bread is better. You giysbwere talking about Dollys bus. She actually has now retried it to the hotel as Dolly Suite 1986 and you can spend the night in it. It's VERY pricey, but includes alot of perks besides just the room, and a large amount goes towards her charities. What she has done and donated for the area is just amazing. Big Bear is alot of fun. Though I haven't rode Slinky I feel like it's similar but longer. Christmas is great, but the harvest festival in both are really great and dollywood has gotten to almost continuously having something going on. Fire in the hole is the ride that closed in SDC but is reopening as a new coaster and Dollywood still has Fire in the Hole.
Hopefully I'm not the only one letting the guys know that Dolly wrote Islands in the Stream. Nick- you can UPS your bags to and from from your hotel so you don't need to schlep them at the airport. Speak to your hotel to find out their procedures for that. Note the old time VWs had a surprising amount of starage area. My brother bought one in the 60's when he was stationed there & had it shipped back. When he got home what he had stored inside the front boot & cabin filled our living room.
I loved this episode. I laughed so hard. I agree with Nick when it comes to math and English. I love math but I am not very strong at writing and reading.
Ok, so, trying to catch up on watching y'alls videos, but keep falling asleep 😞Anyhew, keep doing what'chyall gotta do to make your fans happy 🙂 I watch on my TV and have to go to laptop to like and comment. Does watching on TV vs Watching as a subscriber on laptop help or hurt your analytics? Keep the podcast happening!
What is the age difference between you guys? I enjoy the banter back and forth. Tim: “hey remember this thing from childhood?” Nick: “I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about..ducktales sounds pretty ok I suppose”
I’ve never had folders. It was one binder with all the subjects, and then you had dividers. I never paid attention to the colors, and I feel like all of this is news to me 😂. Interesting that Tim has so much musical talent. As long as I’ve been watching him I haven’t gotten that vibe from him. Though maybe I should have because he’s always enjoyed filming live music bands.
I agree with Nick, language arts was my jam, even though I didn’t struggle in math because of it. But when it came to science, that was the struggle 😂. Can’t wait to go Epcot for my first festival & for bday week🥳🌸🌺
Just sayin'...if anyone was playing a drinking game for every time Nick said TBD on this episode, it would not have ended well. Lol. But seriously, I love you guys. This show makes me literally laugh out loud.
Silver Dollar City's Fire in the Hole is the one that's being re-created! Dollywood's is called "Blazing Fury". Dollywood's Christmas is apparently JUST as good as Silver Dollar City's, but they're both world-class! I went to Dollywood's last year, it was incredible.
DCA used to always have Soarin over California but they changed it to around the world. Now the California version only comes for their Food and Wine fest. I love the California version so much better.
You guys make me lol, your conversations re the music age gap remind me so much of my conversations with colleagues at times 😂 although I would struggle with Tim too as although older there are a few US bands mentioned that I have never heard of, 😂 as I am in the UK.
yay! new episode. re Nick not knowing any of Tim's musical references - this is me with my friends group (we are all in our 40s). Someone will mention something in the group chat thinking its a throw away meme or interview & I'll know the context & history & mention something about that & all I'll get is crickets or 'what is that?' type questions. i try to explain & only confuse them more....when they brought it up!!!! It gets very confusing for everyone 😂
For a Switch game, honestly, when Jackson's able to read a little more (or maybe if Tim can help out since it's a looooot of reading) I highly recommend Animal Crossing. It's super calming, family-friendly, and I bet he'll have a blast decorating and seeing all the funny animals. It dos go by real time but you can manipulate that if you need to by changing the Switch's clock. I don't recall Smash Bros being super intense, but that's just my opinion.
I hope you two know I look forward to these every Monday. I work from home and prop my phone up on my desk and it makes Mondays just a little bit better 😊
Same!! I am getting ready for work, and this is a perfect way to start my week!
I'm the same as well. Great way to start the morning.

The section on singing was hilarious 😂 great podcast - you guys are so good together ❤️
Nick needs to get the Flood album, IMMEDIATELY! :D I love Tim so much for quoting birdhouse in your soul at the top of the episode!
Please continue doing this podcast it’s amazing all the information that you provide about the parks that I didn’t even know, I always look up for Monday to listen to both of you.
All I have in my head this entire podcast is Islands in the Stream, lol! Thanks Tim, lol!
Omg best episode ever!!! This is the vibe you guys have when you are in the parks together and exactly what I have been hoping would come to the podcasts once you found your groove ❤
Love waking up early to see you guys are ready to start my day :))
C3PO totally has feelings! Remember the scene where his memory gets wiped and he's like "taking one last look at my friends" 😭😭😭😭
3:40 was my favorite part of the episode! 🔥 🔥 🔥 Tim sings all the time, I can’t believe you haven’t noticed. I actually enjoyed the unhinged version, you had to pay attention and who knows what will happen next….. great entertaining job!
“Chicken raptors…are not scary” needs to end up on your merch ASAP lol!!!
"Would you constitute what you just did as you singing?"😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow. You guys are early. Love it!!
You two make my Mondays better. 😊
TBD drinking game :) a shot of pog juice. the podcast is great way to start a Monday
Agree OMG how many times can you say TBD lol lets count
Can't wait to hear all about the Princess weekend and flower and garden. Good luck Nick ❤

Thumbs up for making me laugh so much at the beginning!

3:40 and I am dying! Burn! Love your shirt, Nick!
Just in time for my return to work after February break 😂 I’m LIVING for the They Might Be Giants references.
Wow. I’ve laughed out loud at EVERY episode and this one- no different.
Nick- I know last episode was tough- so happy you shared.
Tim- your humour knows no bounds. 😂😂😂
Thank you for the They Might be Giants reference!
I loved this episode your senses of humour are great
I love you guys! I don’t mind what you are talking about. Just love laughing with you.

I’m with Nick - people definitely veer towards language arts OR math. There were definitely kids in AP math and english but they were the minority.
Yes, left brained vs. right brained.
I agree 100 percent.
I love Tim’s intros lolll Nick is definitely going to have a great laugh every episode
We love Dollywood. 😍 TN in general, is amazing. Actually wearing my Dollywood spirit jersey while listening lol
Making Mondays better, one track at a time.
I'm with Tim...this was a funny episode...best one so far
Dreammore is the resort near Dollywood. We stayed there and it was great! The song in the capsule is just stored in the resort now, not written for the resort, but so cool.
Cracking up at Nick’s evaluation of Tim’s singing just now 😂
Big Bear Mountain is the new coaster at Dollywood. It’s so smooth and fun.
Mystic Timbers is the one at King’s Island. “What’s in the shed.”
I am loving the podcast. Nick, I am not throwing any shade but you said TBD a lot in this episode. LOL. Love the “Hi Dad Soup” segment ❤
I’m a Pisces too, Tim, and love my alone time. I think Pisces are known to be loners. Don’t get me wrong, love being around people too, but I will go most places alone and be totally happy.

one of my favourite episodes so far!! too funny
Love that you release these on Monday morning!! Great start to the week! 🎉
This was FOR SURE your funniest episode guys...not even kidding! The whole singing part of the Podcast had me with tears in my eyes from laughing so hard! 😂 Loved the unhinged episode, please keep em coming! 😜
This is I think my fav podcast so far. I haven’t laughed this hard listening to other podcasts
Great episode Nick & Tim… and that last second Tim Tracker vlog homage quote had me bursting out laughing; Tim! I can barely stop the laughing tears; lol ❤😂
So nice running into you at Hollywood Studios Tim!! Sorry we were so starstruck 🤣❤️
I live 3 hours from Branson, love SDC! also the total eclipse is coming over my town for over 4 mins of darkness! we are being told to stock up on everything a few weeks ahead!
I LOVE Swedish Chef!! My son does an impression of him that makes me laugh SO hard and makes me 🥰
I absolutely love this podcast!

Mom.. dad....stop fighting 😂
Yes come to Silver Dollar City in Branson. I’m in Springfield 45 minutes away. So much fun stuff to do in the area!
Yeah! I'm seeing TMBG in Cincinnati May 14 & 15! I've followed John & Jon since their first album release & the dial-a-song answering service.
Tim just casually throwing his “I’m proud of you” at the end 🤣🤣 iykyk
As a proud son of the 305, I too am anxiously awaiting the Cuban sandwich. Please don’t let me down 😭🤞🏽🙏🏽
the one at Dollywood is called Blazing Furry. It use to be a water ride with a plash at the end. Also Dollywood does it up right for every season. My favorite time to go is Spring because they have a Floating Umbrella sky.
Omg Homestar runner! Loved him, Strongbad and the cheat!
Yall definitely crack me up! I didn’t know what hot cross buns was until my daughter learned it on the recorder at school, so my mid thirties! 😆
Fire in the hole in Silver Dollar City is the one that is closed at the moment. We used to go to that theme park all the time, so much fun. Also, Tim and my daughter have the same birthday! 🎉
We need a podcast with Luke, Jackson and Ethan as the guests!!!! That would be so fun!!
Omg home star runner ❤ the cheat is my favorite and I have a plush
Nicks giggles at the beginning is soooooo cute
I love the intros Tim does…esp this one today. -Roy G Biv🌈
This was my fav so far!!!!
The amount of times Nick said TBD made me feel like there was a different meaning to TBD 😂 love these guys love this pod
TIM! Monster Jam tickets are super inexpensive it’s a must do!! I just took my 2 year old in Miami and he had a BLAST!!!
Not going to be able to make it this year, but I can certainly follow along with Tim & Nick. Thanks guys.
I think the Timbers you were thinking about is Mystic Timbers at Kings Island.
i'm 33 and i definitely would watch homestar runner ALL THE TIMEEEE as a kid! honestly i still find it funny now lol

"She doesn't count. She's my wife." LOL
California listener!! DCA only has the Soarin over CA version during Food and Wine!! We typically have Soarin over the World!
Look forward to these hi tim and nick
Cedar Point won't be open in April. it's COLD in Ohio this time of year. Usually opens in May haha
Special ticketed event for the eclipse.
@@sociald4515 oh that’s cool I didn’t know!
DCA used to always have Soarin over California but they changed it to around the world. Now the California version only comes for their Food and Wine fest. I love the California version so much better.
Over California version typically ends with food and wine. It's my favorite version as well.

Branson and Marceline are about 4h apart. Marceline is nice, but it’s a quick hit of a visit, whereas Branson is a multiple day adventure.
