*Fun Fact:* In the beginning, Marge Simpson's hairstyle was assigned that way because in the last episode of the first season, it revealed that she has bunny ears underneath her blue, tall hair. It was later scrapped in the show, but you can still see the reference in one of the game sprites in The Simpsons arcade game.

And said bunny ears would have likely been a reference to Groening's comic "Life in Hell".
Edit: The Simpsons has also had several LiH references in the form Bongo the one-eared rabbit appearing as a plush toy for instance.

If they polish up the game while having old and new missions, I can see it doing very well.
Well, some fans are made an HD remaster it actually looks very good.
So at least we have this.
And 2007 game a port.
A remaster of that game has been long overdue.

Simpsons Hit and Run was one of my favorite video games as a kid, even though I was never able to beat that monkey quest in the second stage.
Yeah that mission was hard but I managed to beat it.

The Simpson’s tapped out started off fun then came having to spend actual money to basically keep playing. It’s a no from me.
Me too. Mostly found it a "play to win" game but some do seem to enjoy it. I just say be careful how much you spend.
@PhantomStrider That’s way I’m not the biggest fan of mobile games. The ones I have you either have to pay buckets of money to do anything or the game is so riddled with adds you feel manipulated.
I used hacks for unlimited money and donuts and then it was fun cause I didn’t have to wait and I could just make a Simpsons town.
It became a daily chore.
Hyrul don’t need to pay at all I’ve been playing on and off since it came out never spent a dime set my stuff up for 12, 24 hours and just checked then unless I wanted to keep playing then just did the less time tasks nothing that you need for any quests is blocked behind paying if you play during the events you’ll get all the rewards

@@pjusttheletterpreally.noth2995 Maybe one day it would happen cause there's a modding community for that game,and one of the mods is the games normal campaign but improved,and maybe they add levels 8 and 9. If they made an all new map for level 4,I don't see why they wouldn't be able to do that
They never got to actually finish the last level too, pretty sad since it meant doing basically the same mission 3 times

There actually was going to be a SNES version of the Simpsons Arcade Game but due to legal issues between Acclaim and Konami, Acclaim won the rights and we got Virtual Bart, Itchy and Scratchy the game, Krusty's Super Funhouse, and Bart's Nightmare
I used to have The Simpsons Arcade Game on the PS3, but my baby sister destroyed the console, lmao..

Bart’s nightmare was so good, it didn’t even make the worst list.
I remember raging at Bart's Nightmare because of the stupid Indiana Jones minigame

I remember playing Krusty's Fun House and tbh it's one of my favorite SNES puzzle games. You play as Krusty who goes around his fun house making sure a set number of rats are killed via Bart and Homer and their extermination machines. It is a bit tedious because you must find all the secrets before you unlock the final stage of a level before you move on, plus it makes you use all your mental energy just to figure how to send the rats to the extermination machines. So I say it's worth a few plays.
The SNES version is the best version, fuck the shitty NES port

On a high school trip, our hotel had a Simpsons Arcade machine, so me and 3 friends took a bunch of quarters and beat the game. I remember we had to spend a decent amount of money on the final bosses... It turns out Smithers and Mr. Burns are extremely cheap.

I like tapped out. I never had to spend any money on it. It’s a nice game to have, especially since it’s sometimes hard to sit down and play games for extended periods. This is nice because I can set up something then come back later

It’s just crazy how all the Simpsons games have the characters voiced by the original actors and didn’t have to get in other voiceovers to fill in. That shows commitment!
True Fact: the Simpson’s arcade game was designed before the first episode aired which explains why it doesn’t quite match certain parts of the tv series like Bart having a blue shirt or the Easter egg with marg being a rabbit and a few other things
I genuinely enjoyed Tapped Out. I would insist on not spending real money, and the only reason I stopped playing was because it was eating up about 60% of my iPad memory.
hit and run will forever be my childhood favourite game. it’s so creative, funny, and has so many cool levels that made it fun for everyone who played.

Great video and collaboration! I grew up with Hit & Run (The first video game I played), Road Rage, and The Simpsons Game so this was very nastolgic.
I still play The Simpsons Tapped Out and I enjoy it without having to spend any money!

Funny story about Simpsons Hit and run; apparently the developers were unsure how Matt Greoning was going to react to the kick feature in the game. But when Matt came in to play, he found the feature so funny, he spent a literal 20min kicking Marge from their house to the Kwik E Mart and giggling like a mad man!

The only Simpson game I remember playing was the Wii one and I did have some fond memories with it my favourite part was the cinema where they go to movie/Media parodies from Fantasy (Lord of Rings type stuff) to GTA to The Pokemon/Anime ones and the WWII one as well facing the creator of the sims Anyways I wish you to be safe and healthy, Josh! :D

Tapped out is one my favorite games I have one mobile. My dad have even played the game for over 5 years and almost have all the characters.

TxTsavage i hated set to kill, the only way i was able to beat it was doing a glitch that froze the timer lol (also the alien autotopsies were super hard and a bit disappointing to me)

It's cool that such an underrated TH-camr like TheRealJims is appearing on bigger TH-camr's channels. He's really deserving of more attention. This was a great list even if I haven't played a good amount of these games. Just a thought, but when you guys talked about Bart vs the Space Mutants it would have been cool if you guys gave a shout-out to the Angry Video Game Nerd episode that reviewed that game. Overall, good countdown, and it's great to see bigger TH-camrs noticing TheRealJims.
Gotta love a real jims crossover (who I always call the slim jims in my head for some reason. weird.)

I have to say. Even though I know what Tapped Out is intended to be, I do enjoy playing it off and on. I've been playing it since its original release, never dropped a dime on it, but it's probably the only mobile app I've ever been interested in playing.
It’s a EA mobile game that isn’t paytowin and is actually fun. It deserves a honorable mention to be on the best list.

Simpsons Road Rage is a game I grew up with as a kid. Whether it be my mum or dad playing it, or I myself, we all had so much fun and had a bucket of laughs.
I am now remembering when you made a steamed hams collab with Mr. Enter and Robyn. Also, The Simpsons Game is awesome.

It'd be a waste to do that while the Switch is still making games. Sure there are a lot of great games now, but I like to look to the horizon at what we're going to get with optimism.

I was waiting for road rage to come up, I used to play it all the time when I was a kid. I was afraid of the time challenges so I would only play the free mode, but I still had lots of fun driving all the passengers around

Fun Fact: I love Virtual Bart and I'm really good at it! Also, Tapped Out sometimes hosts events that make he game a little better. For example, occasionally it's Whacking Day and there are snakes everywhere that you can whack! That being said, I stopped playing it 3 years ago. :) Enjoyed your video very much!

The Simpsons: Virtual Springfield was one of my favorite games as a kid. It hasn't aged well and once you've played through it once or twice and seen most of what there is to see it gets old quickly, but when I was a kid I sank hours upon hours immersing myself in their world and coming up with my own activities to do in the game.

Well, there WAS Virtual Springfield you forgot to mention or have as an Honorable Mention, or Bart’s Nightmare. I can’t remember if you mentioned that one or not, especially Virtual Springfield, which I think you can no longer barely find anywhere either because the game is so old and rare, it’s a one of a kind Virtual Style type of game I think you REALLY should look at, but, great Video either way, Strider. This was a GREAT Video either way, my man, so. 🥰
