Oh thats pretty simple: Beat the game on Normal with both characters once regardless of ranking besides a F and you unlock it. The game will prompt tô save it as a file named EX Battle. Extreme Battle is also only available tô some versions of Resident Evil 2 like The Dual Shock version as this mode did not exist in The Original launch of it.
Correction: Infinite Ammo makes level 3 bearable and not a RNG fest. Even if you use your 1 save in level 3, its still very unforgiving as almost everything hás tô go your way (not going into a empty room after getting past a bunch of enemies). Theres also The fact that most vídeos of Extreme Battle level 3 on TH-cam that looks legit are actually a TAS Or the player is Just Re-recording in The same game room per room tô get the desired outcome they want. Also using ingames is fair play and i still only use it when its something like The above só yeah this run is legit.
@@Rugalbernstein777 you’re definitely right. The few extreme 3 that exist are either super elite players, or tool assisted. Level 3 is very difficult but I’ve done it myself with all three characters, i failed many times but it can be done. It requires planning. You must always save a weapon with stopping power for lickers, the rocket launcher for Mr X, or other bosses.
Yeah same here Man. I have do it back then but using The One save you have on it and then getting Lucky with room RNG. What really makes extreme 3 hard is not The enemies Or bad rooms but The damage that you take that is similar tô The Nightmare arrange mode that would later be in The dreamcast version of RE2 (which most likely came from extreme 3 damage levels as its pretty much The same). However i refuse tô do extreme 3 with anyone besides Chris🤣🤣

It’s not “insane difficulty” when you’re playing with infinite ammo…
Try playing level 3 legit.
