    I've got the Titanium diesel 2017 model, same colour, handles like a sports car, so smooth and quiet to drive, hard to tell it's a diesel, and it really moves. Your review is spot on Harry.

    One thing to be aware of with these cars if you're looking to buy one: avoid the automatic "power shift" transmission no matter what! The automatic is a poorly designed transmission that got Ford in an enormous amount of trouble for the failure rate it had. The manual makes any worry of that irrelevant.
    Great review!

    • @BuckleUpShow
      @BuckleUpShow  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ford's EcoBoost engines are some of the best triples around after all the finessing that they have done to them over the years. If you go for a sportier trim level and a larger engine you can get visible exhaust tips!

    Randomly found your video.
    I own the same car but it's a 2015: same color, same engine but Titanium trim. I loose the cool ST-Line exterior but get some nice bells and whistles: automatic HVAC, cruise control, rear parking sensors. It doesn't have all the options but it's got the ones I couldn't live without.
    But the things I love the most are the driving feel, which always puts a smile on my face with how tight, responsive and dynamic it is (For a family hatchback) and the looks which is kind of different from all the cars in the same segment.
    It looks a bit more sporty and agressive tha like a Golf or a Peugeot 308 (Not the new one though).
    I live in Italy and I always smile when I see another Mk3.5 Focus Hatchback. Here they all buy Golf in a light grey color. I started hating the Golf for that reason. It's such a normie car, while my Focus always looks a bit more sporty and dynamic on the twisties and a bit more premium on the highways.
    Nice video by the way, totally agree with you about the car.

    • @BuckleUpShow
      @BuckleUpShow  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I applaud any car company that let's normal car ownership be a fun experience, and Ford tend to be quite good at it (just don't mention the ecosport)

    • @Kiruke
      @Kiruke 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BuckleUpShow Agreed. When I went to buy one I were looking for a Focus because of the fun handling. I didn't want a boring french car with a dead steering and ancient suspension. Ford is one of the best brand for fun handling on normal cars. I drove the new Fiesta and the new Focus and they're both still incredibly fun to drive.
      And no, the EcoSport is just no.

    Hi, own a 15 plate St line petrol & I absolutely love it, I owned a mk1 Diesel estate (which was fantastic for long trips) then got a 10 plate Mk2 Diesel, again great for long trips & it was in silver & it was a bit of a looker, I usually chop my cars in after about 3 years as fuel economy& refinement improves, so I looked at the Mk3, but I hated the front end on the early models, so I searched for the face life (Aston Martin look), & I found a cracking 15 plate St line in gorgeous Red, & it's a stunner, no additional body kit other than what was fitted, & I get lots of comments about how nice it looks, the Red with hint of Black works, but these cars look great in any colour. Mine is the 1ltr 125 bhp, 6 speed, ( I have owned more powerful cars, (favourite was my 1990 (H plated) 2ltr Astra GTE red top) but this St line keeps a huge smile on my face. Only a few negative points, 1st, should have got one with cruise control, but that's what your right foot is for., other negative is the rubber door trims (seems to affect most focus's on a Mk3,) they peel away from the door, which can be unsightly!, I'm fixed my with strong glue but the rubber always fail on the underneath of the door so securing the rubber, whilst glueing it can be tricky. Only other issues that I've experienced recently is the Lcd screens, not only on the dash but also on the radio display screen, they fail, especially when the weather is hot, I've managed to replace the Dash one, still to do the radio one.
    I would recommend this car to anyone, even for a newly qualified driver as its only a 1 ltr and tax is £20 per year, as mentioned in this video, it's great to drive, it looks & feels good, I will regret the day I say goodbye to it, & will probably get a Mk4, but I'm sticking with my one for now, 5 years now, 42k on the clock, not single advisory on its last few Mot's. Not bad for a 8 year old.

    Looks like a peasant mobile compared to a golf I have a 2014 golf highline it has things like
    Auto adaptive xenon lights
    Lane assist with active cruise control
    Power fold mirrors
    Reverse camera
    Sat nav
    All electric windows
    Auto wipers
    The Focus has none of these things you might get some of them with the Titanium X trim but thats problem with Ford is they can be a bit mean with features most things are optional
    The St line looks high spec but it isn't it's pure definition of style over substance

    • @BuckleUpShow
      @BuckleUpShow  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes but the focus, even when optioned up, tended to still be cheaper than the equivalent golf new and most importantly it's much better to drive

    • @drone_tours
      @drone_tours 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BuckleUpShow I like the new focus I'd pick it over a mk8 golf as they look cheap on the inside I had a 2012 focus 1.0l ecoboost and I liked it I'm just try to say for example if someone had a golf like mine it be a downgrade to trade it for a Mk3.5 focus st line as they lack the spec but they drive nice
