Awesome! I'm brand new to this and not very hip to computers. I followed this tutorial a few months ago to do a project. I struggled but finally got it completed. Now I needed to do basically the same thing again and was once again struggling (thought I wrote notes to self, but couldn't find them!). So I was going through the tutorial again! Then when I saw the part (about the third time) on "saving your envelope" I realized I might be able to pull up the earlier project, save it as an envelope in the presets and be able to use it forever! Worked like a charm. I did in 10 minutes what I had spent several evenings doing the first time! Thanks.
Hands down this is the best tutorial for Corel Draw X/to tweak and manipulate text. Def. subscribed to your channel and look forward to other tutorials.
great tutorials, thanks for sharing. I have a question... on my version of corel (x5) when i type text, the maping mode is automatically set to 'text', and there is no option to select 'putty'. any idea on how to change this so i can shape text?

I had learnt envelope tools but forgot you made it very easy and simple for thanks friend .
