@@Ezrabastian that's the best, but learning some shots from experts can really help adapt new techniques I think, for example I learned from other videos that you can do some cool flying forward, and than reverse the video so it will look like you few backwards while going between trees etc, than I also learned that if there are moving cars or people or water flowing, people will know what you did.
@@DimusTech - so for the naive "question of the day"....how exactly does somebody fly forward, and then reverse the video so it looks like you flew backwards ??? Inspiring, it's videos like these that drive others to do the same. You probably have no idea how many people you motivate by producing projects like this. Thank you for taking the time to share.
Maybe because it's entirely an artist's eye, patience and skill that makes an image and not his tools. Even Ansel said "The single most important component of a camera is the twelve inches behind it." Love my 🦅 ❤
Beside the big size of the AIR2 and its controller i really miss manual gimbals settings, manual settings about sharpness, contrast and saturation, dynamic home point, gesture control, tapfly mode ...all things i had on my old AIR in a smaller size. ... The new AIR can only fly longer and further away and have 4K60 ( but not if you are tracking or shoot in quick shots)...for the size increase I don't understand why they didn't integrate side sensors in the AIR2... a lot of people crash their drone now because of that.
If you watch Mavic Air 1 commercial again, you will see no difference in image quality. It might be, but is extremely small. Anyway this Air 2 has other new things that could suit you.
This is the video that gave me the inspiration to purchase the DJI Mavic Air 2...and let me say I have not yet once been disappointed, mind blown to the capabilities of this product
I have seen this video uploaded by the creator. To me, this is the only video which shows the true potential of this new drone. It convinces me more to go for it. Im planning to buy as soon as its available on our local market
@@Gaming2020-c1b if you could look at some of my videos i have done that. Been to Scotland and Wales and took some nice shots. But saying that it's just a lot of work around Birmingham

First day. First flight. Still whole. So glad I bought this. But intimidated to be sure. I'm sure it will be fun. What a fantastic video though. If I can get any where near this video quality, and I mean 10%, I might be happy. Thanks DJI for a great drone, and thanks to Nathan for an incredible video and demonstration of what is possible.
Nathan: * Travels -hundreds, if not- thousands of miles across multiple states of the American southwest * Also Nathan: "My own backyard" Amazing cinematography and pilot work! But lets not be kidding ourselves about the travel flex during corona-time ;) Edit: Did the math. They definitely traveled over 1000 miles to film this.
Most of this looks like its in Arizona with some Southern Utah mixed in so it's really not too much of a stretch. It's also reachable by car at the very least.
@@casuallycamping1737 I understand where you're coming from but I've driven from California through Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Wyoming all within 2 days, so "reachable by car" is kind of a moot point. Especially when he's been out there for 2 weeks. While I don't know his precise filming locations, it looks like he's as far south as Phoenix is some of the intro scenes, definitely went through Coal Mine Canyon near Tuba City, then potentially as far North as Moab in Utah. Just those three destinations alone would make a 1,020 mile round trip, and you know they definitely hit up a lot of other destinations along the way.
DoNE021 LOL, of course. I was wondering how does one fly so close to stuff backwards, but that’s obvious now. You fly forwards and reverse the footage...

The combination of drone footage and editing skill...This guy is a complete monster...
Ya dig
After watching some of these shots I understand now why they sent him 3 and not just one.
And I understand why they sent free drones to him not me😂
If you send me 3000 I g̶u̶a̶r̶a̶n̶t̶e̶e̶ might get you one or two good ones.
Mainly for the seamless transitions that involved the drone appearing it was flying into an obstacle 😂
@Joe Materese Ha! Yeah just joking :-)

I request the "behind the scenes" so we can learn as well
No need. Get out there and learn by trial and error.

Should have used that as your announcement video, DJI.
For me this is disappointing: in my eyes this is not a mavic air 2, but a Mavic pro light instead......
HitchSteam my wallet appreciates it
@Joe Materese he is using the mavic air in fpv mode
