No, there maybe something else going on with your friend (Maybe huggin the bedside vampire. that would give an overall %1 after the -%5 from her de-buff) but it does give %6. There is also a +1 and +2 version running around that give an even better buff. Planning to update the guide when I'm satisfied we have all the information, but it's slow going with such a massive game!

The Merchant in the south Eastern area of the map sells them. You have to leave the Limegrave area and run off the map south. Did you make it to them?
