Still got my 1994 OG clear blue vinyl copy. My friends and I all bought a copy at Tower Records, on the afternoon we were driving down to San Diego to see Floyd play at Jack Murphy Stadium. What an amazing show. I need to finally upgrade, as you said the original album was squeezed down to fit a single LP.

Hey Roger! So glad that you got alot out of this video. I was contemplating selling the 2 LP album inside the box and then get that blue version but it wouldve gone beyond my rules for buying colored variants. It hurts when you have the Floyd buying blood in you! Stay safe and play loud as well!
Thank you Marichen! Believe me, this box isnt the prime example of a lot of paper. Their Early Years box set in divided up into year-by-year book style volumes and each volume came with a pocket of replica memorabilia and its insane how many trees were used in the production of that!
You got that right! Floyd always delivers very lavish deluxe packages. Sure people may not like the replica memorabilia but it just gives off this feeling of realness to it. Its like the Mona Lisa, you sure as hell cant own it but you can get a high-rez scan!
Man thats a nice looking box set. I was working the night shift at 107.9 kfan when that came out. I got a promo copy of cd wish I still had it. Really enjoyed the video my friend.
@@TheRecordSpinner hey bro it was lite play in the day daytime heavy at night. no I no longer have any of the CDs I had when I was in radio I must have had a thousand of them. Somebody gave the friends somewhere stolen from me and I sold hundreds of them when I was out of work. I regret selling them but when you have to pay rent or sell your CDs that you got for free. I have a copy of the Blue and Black coloured vinyl.Both copies on Poles Apart at the end of the guitar solo my needle sticks at exact same place.I even ordered another Black coloured vinyl and same again on Poles Apart.Same place the needles sticks at exact same place.Any issues on your copy which I’ve experienced?
The box set you want to seek out is the Wall Immersion box set. I have it myself and it is fantastic. You get the album remastered, the album live in Earls Court (released as "Is There Anybody Out There?"), band demos, an excerpt of Roger's original demo, a DVD with a documentary, music/live videos. There is also two booklets of photos from the show, a scarf, marbles, coasters, a little piece of Roger's ego (JOKING!) All kinds of stuff. Should still be available for decent prices. I would check Amazon UK, they did a few other Immersion sets and Ive been seeing prices go rocket low for them on there.

Like Beethoven and Mozart, I don't care who plays it, as long as they play it well. Louder than words is appropriate, because it is the music that gets me every single time.
