Will, I had not seen an unboxing of this yet, I was waiting on seeing it from the worlds biggest Green Day fan. Interesting about the influence of The Muffs. I recently saw one of their albums but I didn’t grab it, I had already spent to much. I did enjoy your thoughts on the different albums, job well done
Thanks Steve. There are a lot of unboxing videos in TH-cam but you're right, I don't think anyone in the VC has done one yet. I may do one soon. The Muffs are excellent. Pick up any of their albums but their first 3 are their best.
Hey! I really like your videos! i'm a green day fan so I love see your collection and stuff. Your theory about the argent cover is great. I bought both CD and Vinyl box, sadly the CD cover arrived almost crashed by the delivery... so I can see what you mean with "old and screch CD". About Ernie, back in 1994 the wipe him out due copyright (to avoid legal prolems) and even because some people tought it was a record for children, but I don't understand why they didn't bring him back nowdays. Even in the 2008 reprint of Dookie there isn't Ernie. And I can't explain to myself why in the European relase of the CD Ernie is still there! By the way, the booklet is amazing and I think the "photografer" in the photo that you like, it's actually Trè (based on the shirt). I love the way Bob Mehr described all the process of making Dookie. The photos are tipical funny Green Day, three kids having the time of their life, and then Bob described how serious they were in the studios. I agree with you on the outtakes, they could include 2000 light years away! Or at least fill the Side B. I already listen the cassette demos cause a few years ago came out "dookie demos" on vinyl by an unofficial relase ( it has "walking the dog" too). I'm glad that they include Woodstock too, i love that performance ( I have the record store day vinyl but the CD is more pratical). And yes Old live Green Day are a different experience! Ps. I'm sorry if i made some mistake, but I'm Italian
Oh that's too bad about your CD box. I hope you were able to get a replacement. Yeah the Earnie back cover should have definitely made a comeback on the box. That was a big miss. I didn't notice Tre in the picture taking the photo. He looked very different. You're right. I think one of the main reasons Green Day was so much more successful than other punk bands is that they took their work so seriously. Yes, they were having fun but they were also practicing a lot. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Box looks awesome! I need to listen to that Live in Barcelona record
It's a crazy good show. And you can hear the crowd going nuts. Specially at the end.

@@VinylPotato sadly no replacement for the CD box... Thanks for share your stuff!
How long is each record individually? I know Dookie itself is about 39 mins but what about everything else?
I am not sure how long exactly they are but the b-side album is pretty short. The only one that is long is the live album. Perhaps 1.5 hrs?
@@VinylPotato thanks just wondering because new vinyl pressings tend to press less music onto two vinyls for like 12 mins and that leaves dead wax
Will, the new single of Green Day is here!!! What’s your thoughts?? January 19 2024 new Green Day album!!!
Video about that is coming soon! 😎🤘
