The reason for the 18mm + 19mm lower strut bolt setup is that the top one (18mm head) has a thinner shank to allow for more camber adjustment. Doesn’t matter on KWs though as they have slotted holes for more camber adjustment anyway.

Great video as ever, I could do with picking your brain on fitting a/c to a 1990 rallye. The heater box bolts straight in the right intercooler connection has been cut and welded its the condensing radiator im having problems with and the stand alone dryer could you advise please
For the front mount for the mk2 golf, my friend welded re inforcement places to keep it from breaking when i swapped over to solid mounts
22:46 . best part is adjusting to spec after service aint a nightmare like a 02A unit is xD

Thanks, yes I used polo 6N2 as those are the shortest cables.

The G60 golfs had different intercoolers depending on whether they had aircon or not.

There is only GTi G60 fwd
