The Cumbres and Toltec along with the Durango and Silverton get 5 stars for their incredible work restoring and preserving the very famous D&RG narrow gauge. It would be nice if the D&RG Scenic railroad would add a third rail so the Cumbres and Toltec could run specials up their lines as well!
Awesome video! Reminds me of the first time I ever visited Chama. It was 1981 and the only engines they had under steam were 487, 488, & 489. Soon 484 was restored, followed by 463. Then 497 came over from Durango in a trade for 482. It's great being reminded just how much The C&TS has grown over the years.
