I think it’s really awesome that you let V take things at her own pace and that you don’t pressure her to get on anything she finds scary. Would be awesome if one day she decided to let loose and try some things out of her comfort zone, cause that’s how all coaster thusiasts are born!!!
Pretty good. Did get stuck on the first hill of Millennium Force for about five minutes. Great views and what an unusual first of the year experience 😀.
I was there yesterday and ran into Taylor and Sarah from Coaster Studios, so that was cool. I have the all season fast lane plus pass, and crowds weren’t too bad, so I was able to get on all the big rides pretty quickly. Even Top Thrill 2, got two rides on that in about 30 minutes total.
While you were having fun on opening day. My son and I were just across the bay fishing on the pier watching top thrill 2. Glad you and your daughter had a great day.
Looked like a great day! My son has been talking about riding Ocean motion aka the pirate ship since last year lol. He is a tall 5 and 1/2 year old, not scared of heights, and loved calypso last year at 4....so going to let him ride it this year hopefully he will love it.
I don't know how I missed you! I was there opening day from 8:30am to 8:30pm and I saw a ton of other TH-camrs except you! :( I feel like I ran into BeachCliff Studios like 5 times that day.
my favorite roller coaster is now wildcats revenge at Hershey Park and it use to be I305! is that crazy to say or what? and i still haven't rode steel vengeance yet
I assume that all of the TH-camrs use fast Lane and maybe I'm wrong. The majority of park goers use the regular queue. I think it would be cool if TH-camrs made a video that catered to majority of park-goers by expressing strategies to make the most of your day at Cedar Point on a regular pass. I've learned some strategies that have helped me get the most of my one day at the park for the season because I don't use a fast pass. I grew up in the generation before fastpass so they are just some general things I have learned that can be done to get the most out of "the only day" at Cedar point. There's definitely some things not to do that would waste a lot of time. I will say that seasons where I had a season pass, I handled my Park strategy much different than years where I only spent one day at Cedar Point the whole season. You seem to be a nice guy and at the park regularly. I'm coming to Cedar Point at the end of May or maybe for Costa mania. If we happen to be in the park on the same day I'd be willing to give you some insight on what a day like that would look like so that a video could be made that would cater to the majority of park goers. Or maybe somebody has already made that video? It would be content that others are not offering...... I think??
Hey! Unless you see fast lane on my videos, then I’m never using fast lane. I want to be relatable and show the majority of people how to ride all the rides without having to spend 150.00 plus dollars extra on your trip. I’d love to hear other ideas you have though! I’m always looking for ideas for what to do to spice things up!
That is so cool! Much respect for being wise about fast Lane by taking the average park goer into consideration. I just really think that fast Lane would 0:10 change the experience quite a bit. Here some things I've done it to enjoy regular pass or a regular season pass. (Gold, back in the day Platinum). And I do apologize if you've already covered these things because I haven't watched all of her videos. I've learned that weekdays at the beginning of the season and the end of the season have lines that are pretty short. I've learned that Saturdays obviously get more difficult during the peak of summer. Sundays are better. Saturdays in September when people just go back to school are pretty slow because of football but they pick up towards Halloween. A Saturday that has nice weather in October is unbearable and I mean absolutely unbearable. Holidays are usually better than Saturdays and sometimes you're lucky. If I were going on memorial Day or Labor Day I would stick to going on the holiday itself because people have to go to school and work on Tuesday. The Saturday in the holiday weekend could be busy. Can't forget Queen Victoria Day. I went to the park expecting it to be slow and then it was full of Canadians! I've gotten lucky on some rainy days where the rain chased away a lot of people then the rain goes away and rides up open up to a pretty empty park. That's the day that I got my four rides at steel vengeance with 15 minutes wait time each. I think it would be good to mention if you haven't already because I haven't watched all of her videos that Cedar Point is one long peninsula and that can really put a lot of time on your feet with walking. Maybe give a park tour that points out the different sections of the park and what the entrances look like? Knowing the park and where the entrances are can save a lot of time especially if time is what's going to help you enjoy more rides. When I was new to Cedar Point it took a while to get used to looking for the restrooms. I don't recommend zigzagging it through the park because of it being a long peninsula. I try to work my way towards the back of the park at the beginning of the day and then finished words the front of the park at the end of the day. Also knowing the shortcuts helps like knowing where the cable cars land and where the train entrances are. I've also learned that sometimes I can get lucky going right at park open and directly to a busy ride can sometimes work in my favor. When I had a season pass it was so nice because I didn't feel pressured to try to do the whole park in one day I would just get there and see what the attendance was like and then decide what I could do to get the most fun and then by visiting a few times I could make sure I hit everything. A cool season pass hack is to purchase next year's season pass in the fall because usually is Cedar Point would allow you one or two visits in the fall and the next year's season pass. I was one of the lucky pandemic Gold pass pass holders because I got to ride in 2019 that was purchased for the 2020 season but then they gave us 2021 for free because the pandemic. I ended up with 3 years on one pass.
Thanks for taking a pic with us. Nice to finally meet you!

What did you think of Cedar Point’s opening day?
Better than in recent years, at least I thought lol
Pretty good. Did get stuck on the first hill of Millennium Force for about five minutes. Great views and what an unusual first of the year experience 😀.

I wasn’t there on Sunday anyway, but would definitely be fun to see you guys.
I was there opening day too I can't believe I got to see coaster studios
It was great seeing everyone on opening day!
It was great seeing you too!
Gatekeeper was down I think when you saw that small line. I was in line for 5 different rides that went down and had to wait for repairs.
I got a picture with Sarah and Taylor on Sunday
WOW… there I am in the video 🎉
Let’s go, millennium force ride Photo Booth is finally open!
Was fun to see opening day. Is there any word on when Gemini will open or why it was closed?

I think everyone is different! No one has to have the same favorite ride!
We all have different opinions! That’s what makes roller coasters fun!
I met along for the ride at hugo's in 2022. Very nice people.
V - I thought your favorite ride was ocean motion.
She's like her daddy. it changes minute by minute.
