    I am currently hunting for a Boxster and finding your channel incredibly informative - thank you. Funnily enough, Richard's Boxster is the exact model and trim I am looking for!

    Glad I found your channel. I'm doing a 986 as my next project car. Looking to restore/mod and boost HP.

    One of my Favourite videos. Great to see other cars of the same marque displaying your plans. I really want to do the 996 TB on my 986S now!

      +Jason Day Big thanks Jason. The 996 TB is one of the cheapest and easiest mods, you won't regret it!

    10-13 hrs to replace the airbox is crazy! Approx. how long does it take to remove the stock airbox? So, are you going to do this to yours?

    Watching with interest. Hopefully it will see close to 300bhp with all the mods mapped in properly

    Good video! When calculating HP gains, did you take into account the loss of hp due to the transaxle? The factory HP numbers you are comparing it to are the flywheel hp given by the factory and not the wheel horsepower like the graphs. HP gains maybe more in that case.

    • @RoadandRacetv
      @RoadandRacetv  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Alfredo Larracuente An excellent question Alfredo. All the figures quoted are flywheel numbers. The rolling road can give both at the wheel and flywheel figures so we used flywheel to keep things simple. The flywheel figure from the rolling road is an estimate though.

    Can you ask the owner where and what the model# is for the K&N air intake kit was that he used?

      +Konstantin Thanks Konstantin. I may, I've certainly been thinking about it. My car is a Tiptronic so I'll never be able to get a final horsepower figure though. 🙁

    The exhaust clamps look like something from a 1960s Ford Cortina.
