my collar bone is healed for like so many years now. no surgery. i want to go back to sports again and lift weights but i'm still anxious, about what might happen especially that i haven't done any surgery. can i hear your opinions?
my collarbone is really fractured like they are really apart from each other for like 3 inch i think. but i saw the recent xray of mine and i saw some progress. it's close to each other again but not straight. its just like leaning on to the other bone.

Im 16 yrs old. Midshaft Z type fracture and have mini bump on my skin. Today is my 11th day since accident(mountain
biking) I . My pain is almost gone when im not moving rushly but when i wake up after sleep i noticed some pains in my shoulder area in its really messing my mind up and afraid of sleeping anymore. The doctor told me to wear a sling for 2 weeks. They didnt tell to have a surgery or not.
Can i ask some question ?
1. Why my shoulder area hurts when im waking up from sleep.
2. Do i need surgery for Z-type fracture
3. Do malunion effects range of motion?
4. Can i do heavy weights after my bone completely heals?
5. Currently my clavicle is not in pain and im much comfortable not wearing slings. But the doctor advice me to wear it for 2 weeks. Can i take it off now? 😂
Im 15 and im also did it while mountain biking, its my 12th day and im scheduled for surgery next week it doesn't hurt mutch anymore but im worried it will after surgery.
Did you end up having surgery?
