- Thunderstorms in the Badlands equal a lot of mud and complications. Experience one heck of a storm from my point of view....in a tent.

Yikes! Goodtimes. Thanks for the video brother
It was quite the storm!
Whoah that was insane rain! 😮 ⛈️. Not a trip you will forget in a hurry though!
Thanks for taking us along 😊👌
You said it....we won't forget! 😀
That looked like fun. Messy but fun.
I'm still cleaning mud off my gear!
Great video. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks Tressa!
That sunset was beautiful.
I always feel so small in a really bad thunderstorm. Just waiting for daylight.
Mike didn’t care it was 420 😂😂😂
I felt VERY small, bud. I get that! Mike did not care at ALL. He got the brunt of the water.
Not much sleep on a night like that! Some good ol' Type Two Fun right there.
Type II is absolutely what that was!
A trip I’ll never forget that’s for sure! …and did we hear a Skinwalker out there or what?? lol
I'm pretty sure it was either a spirit or a skin walker, yes.

uff-dah that looked like a wicked trip. glad you all survived.
It was a wild ride!
Bro that was intense! Glad you made it through. If you stayed at home for every bad forecast, you might miss great times like these. :)
You said it best man! We won't soon forget that night!
A thunderstorm in a place called the Badlands? Surely it can't be THAT bad...
It was just a little sprinkle. Haha
I’ve only had to ride out one smaller squall while out there. We were set up on some grass so it went well. It passed quickly. I have the same Durston Tent and it seems to hold up well to wind/rain so far.
The tent is a beast! It can't repel Badlands mud though! Lol
I had a spooky experience with an 8x8 tarp and bivybag in a nasty thunderstorm. Not sure I want to go though it again
It can be a lasting trauma sometimes!
I guess in that area you have to worry about flash floods and lightning since you are so exposed to the elements!
It's not a good place to be in storms for sure. It does flood out in certain areas.
Fun stuff dude!! haha
Sort of fun when you're not alone!
Don't you just love a little rain. 😢
We won't forget that night anytime soon!
Durston holding strong! What model is that?
It's the non dyneema Xmid One. Love it!
That didn't look fun. I've only had to pack up in the night in the rain once, and it was miserable.
I've had better nights sleep for sure!
