I recently had some cardiac tests done (48 holter monitor/stress echo/king of hearts) and finally got the results. I forgot to mention in the video that I also have marginal prolonged QT interval. A bit discouraging. I am over 3 times more likely to develop heart failure due to my left ventricle ejection fraction, but I believe God can turn it around! Also, my cardiologist is sending my chart info to a cardiac electrophysiology specialist to review.
I’m wearing my heart monitor now. I have an Apple Watch that tells me when I’m tachy so I can already see what they’re going to see when they review things. My sister has POTS, so I wonder if that’s what’s happening with me. I was walking from my car into work and my heart went up to 183bpm. It jets straight up to 205 when I run and I’m a runner, so that sucks. Boy, can I feel that!!! 🤯🤯🤯 Prayers and best wishes to you dear. 🙏❤️
I have a zio-xt monitor on right now, I appreciate seeing what sort of things this type of test can detect. I’ve been having weird symptoms that we are trying to track down the cause. Pregnancy has made palpitations worse.. thanks for sharing your experience! I’m sorry your heart isn’t being good to you. It’s bittersweet knowing I may not be as lazy as I feel I am.. and the weird episodes might have a real cause.. though.. an answer may be tough as well.. praying God strengthens our bodies ❤️
8 years ago i took a step aerobics class (very mild) and my heart started POUNDING. i went to see a cardio and they gave me a stress test, an ECG (which is useless as it only picks up 6 secs), an echocardio, and a holter monitor (24h). i have tacy and bradycardia 168 to 42 (sleep)...she told me to return annually to do the echo and the ECG but i only went back 3 years (now i'm complying as mom had a stroke last june). at the time id idnt' know 40s can be dangerous (cardio didn't tell me). i moved so i had to find a new cardio and the pcp told me that 40s need to be flagged. new cardio is having me use the Zio patch...has anyone used it ? awaiting for my echo appt. I, too, have valve issues. The new cardio says it's more common in women. I've been exhausted for decades and i asked the new cardio is it due to the heart issues or non REM sleep. he thinks it's the chronic nonREM. its important to exercise. i wasn't able to lose the 15+ lbs with the original cardio and my bp was high, so she prescribed me beta blockers. (i never took them). the current pcp says beta blockers can further lower the heart rate and i already have very low heart rate...so we'll see what the new cardio says. he was surprised that the 1st cardio was putting me on meds. ive been walking 10k steps most days but i dont find it helps me in losing weight, so i'm starting to swim again. it's low impact rec swims , so hope it helps.
Oh, my goodness, I will pray for you, dear lady. That sounds frightening. I know when I had a mystery illness I sometimes got scared to death. My natural health practices took over a year to fully heal me, so six weeks sounds good. The world says that the devil is in the details, but a dear brother I know switched that around and said God is in the details. He also said that down time is God time because when we are unable to do much physically we can certainly read the Word and pray. That's the most important work of all.
i have bicuspid aortic valve with aortic stenosis like ive known that since i was like 3 months old but now im wearing a heart monitor bc apparently im having premature heartbeats and im kinda scared
Hey!, did u use the Bardy CAM heart monitor? Have some questions if you did, if u can please help answer I have a few questions can you please help answer ? My cardiologist put one on my chest for 3 days , today i need to take it off at 3pm and ship it Do i need to press the button before i peel it off? The medical assistant was unclear on the steps to take it off And does this record people talking (audio) or just heart waves? Finally , i hope youre doing well! Would love to know how you've been lately
I am doing much better heart wise. I got an internal heart monitor and changed my diet. I do still get tachy at times when I eat something I am allergic to or sensitive to. But in general doing much better because my gastroparesis is better and I am not malnourished, which my heart likes.
Hey im writing to you because I am getting my holter monitor tomorrow and i am suppose to only get it for 24 hour but if i ask the people who are doing it to change it to 48 hours do you think they easily can adjust the time im just wondering since my pain comes from working out and I am having a work out class within the 48 hour not 24 do you know if its able to be changed when i get there or if its already set up for you? thank you just saw your video now hope you are doing okay

I'm so sorry. I just saw this! I don't know the answer and I hope you got it taken care of. I now have an implanted heart monitor in my chest.
How are you doing now?
God bless.
I have an internal heart monitor now and I am doing well with that! I have palpitations still, but they are benign and don't cause too many issues.
I hope you are well soon.
Keeping you in my prayers sister GOD BLESS.
