    Tight squeeze. I wonder if the dock crews measure the space before assigning the slot. Scott Free has a very nice interior, layout.

      I'd imagine that's on the port to calculate that there's enough space for them to fit...

    Ich finde der Otto normal Bürger sollte noch mehr Treibhausgase einsparen, damit diese Yachten weiter betrieben werden können.

    The Boat owners pay a fortune to Moor there Yacths in Monaco and there's no room for mistakes.

    Do ships use their own engines in the panama canal? Why not get two stern lines to the dock, winch the yacht in and keep the bow straight with the rubber boats?

    Three keys to docking a super yacht: 1. Fenders 2. Fenders and...3. More fenders

    It's really rare to see professional crew and captains working on yachts these days..
    There is plenty of room on portside,there is no wind,no current ,no nothing and this is how you dock? Imagine him docking under cross wind...

    • @YTviewer118
      @YTviewer118 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Completely agree

  • @YTviewer118

    Always baffles me watching yacht crew on different yachts carrying out different operations, more so because of the lack of idea that most have within the industry and honestly the quality of crew has diminished so very much that it's embarrassing to think that newbies will watch this and think it's professional.
    We've got the guy emerging onto the swim platform at 3:40 with no lifejacket whilst main engines are engaged, regardless of conditions he should have a lifejacket, what's worse is his position at 5:25, standing right of the quarter and again at 5:52 as he is seen creeping around the rub rail to reach for the mooring line (another example of poor mooring preparation ahead of time as the straight backs should have already been put in position) What if he falls in? What if he slips, hits his head and falls in the water? It's the height of stupidity, we have safety management systems for a reason and this is a prime example of simply not complying and not setting a good example to fellow crew members and others watching the entire operation.
    This is exactly the reason why so many accidents have happened because crew are not trained effectively and prefer to take shortcuts.

      to be honest I rarely see crews on a lifevest in any given situation 🫣🫣

      @@archiesvlogmc It’s very poor. On the 100m+ yachts we take safety a lot more serious.

    There are probably people who can't think of anything else but to shoot videos of boats mooring in the harbor. It's just as boring as filming people filling up.

      does it not occur to you ppl watch these because they're interested in Yachts? or even work in the industry? Why are you you here anyway, do you go around complaining about things you're not interested in, now that's boring. What a strange person.

  • @gordonsimpson3235
    @gordonsimpson3235 ปีที่แล้ว

    Another pathetic attempt at mooring, totally relying on the crew of the yacht to starboard to sort the mess out. There wasn't even any cross wind, the burgee was hanging straight down - not even a flutter.
    Tristan Mortlock would have that docked in minutes.
    I don't see why people would want to pay a fortune in docking/charter fees to be moored-up like sardines in a tin.
    No natural light in the cabins due to the proximity of other yachts, or worse, looking straight into each others cabins.
    Nothing very 'premium' about this experience.

    Terrible, lack of skill, very clumsy in ideal conditions.
