  • In this video I bring you along and you can watch as I almost make a mistake by making an assumption. The EVAP vent valve on this vehicle is difficult to get to as well as the bulkhead connector in the rear of the vehicle. I almost skipped some testing because.... well just because. Then I remembered to practice what you preach. Test don't guess. Good thing I did too 😉

      In Wisconsin in recent years they've taken to spraying a salt solution onto dry roads if there's even a hint of snow in the forecast. I think this is the killer & it's what they do in New York. You get 10x as many salt days as snow days, and the dry dust blows into every nook & cranny.

    • @LadyAnuB
      @LadyAnuB ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Electrical repairs on cars are very similar to hardwired, remote device-to-central control panel stationary electrical/electronic systems. You use similar diagnostic methodologies and can have similar issues finding wiring faults. (Green crusties on a file alarm device inside a heat detector's connectors inside a bathroom where'd they'd never opened a window during showers and never found during prior inspections this after going above the ceiling to find the fault. 🤡)

By using your methods, I was able to find and repair a problem with my rear turn signals on my 2012 Colorado, but at my age and not having a garage to work in, I just replaced the wire between the fuse box and the BCM. This old body just can't get in the positions and contortions that I used to when I was working. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and methods.
