Consistent messages of safety 👍🏼
Dan, thank you for all your FREE videos. So many take advantage of others desperation to get well and charge too much. Keeping it simple, reminding myself I’m safe. My PDP shifts from plantar fasciitis, low back pain, tight lower limb muscle pain, insomnia and chronic fatigue. I keep reminding myself I’m safe and my symptoms are SLOWLY lessening and SLOWLY getting flares further apart. I had symptoms for years, so this is gonna take some time. When I notice a symptom, I talk to myself, “ ok brain, thanks for being alert but we are ok” and within no time that symptom has lessened or shows up in another form, and I tell it, “it’s ok, we are safe. “ I look back and I have had symptoms for 25 years. Because of you and Daniel from sleep coach school, I believe with all my heart that I will be healed soon of ALL PDP and other symptoms.
You are on the right path Monica. Great implementation. You can do this.
3 days of watching, 2 days of applying…
I feel 95% better… I have a mood disorder and this has worked very quickly. Will continue to practice this, but wow.
Hi Dan, I finally made it, I became symptoms free about a couple of weeks ago and I would really love to share my story with you
So many symptoms are gone, herniated disc, spondylosis, fybro, CFS
This is wonderful. You can get on my calendar at: TalkWithDan.com
@@patriziograssi453 wow ⭐ please share your story 🙏
My tms has shifted to my brain thinking im the sexiest thing alive
Sounds like a positive change! 😅
Love it. Great outcome! haha
Love Humor. Saved me many time.😂

I wish lol
Thank you for your Fast Start Video playlist. So very much appreciated.
You are so right Dan! My pain is cyclical. When it goes away it kinda of just putters away and I forget about it! I’m on the mend with this episode 🙏❤️
Thanks man!
Having an annoying flare up. Happy to have you reminding me of the process getting back to a safety mindset.
Have a wonderful weekend!!!
You got this!
Thanks so much Dan. Add me to your long list of people improving by listening to you daily ❤
Wonderful!
Thank you Dan. Starting a new job Monday having stress with family issues as well. As you know I have anxiety and sensitised nervous system. Symptoms have been extremely colourful as you would say 😊
I’m watching every day and trying not to catastrophise the new job as my mind is trying to go there. I will be joining the group calls when I start earning again. You are a superstar. X
Good luck with your new job!
I have just decided to sign up for the group calls once I am back from my trip on the 3rd of March.
Look out for me Dan :-)! I was just thinking to myself that I could use the support of other people in the same shoes, without frequenting certain forums and social media groups where I don't feel safe because all people do is catastrophising and making me believe this is a life sentence (I have deleted all of my socials for this reason)! I am hoping that the group calls for a month or two, would help in building this unshakable belief that can sometimes waver with certain symptoms.
Wonderful. Look forward to meeting you. In the meanwhile, my fast start playlist is worth watching more than once. DansFastStart.com
The group is wonderful. So supportive and encouraging. It’s worth checking out !
Thank you so much Dan! I really appreciate all your daily videos. Honestly, I'm stuck... I still can't believe my symptoms are 100% TMS, I think some are caused by vitamin deficiencies, or foods that I'm still eating. Everyone I know suffer from digestive issues, so it made me ask myself "Everyone have digestive problems, what if it's something wrong with food or water?" Which makes me reinforce the idea that is not TMS. However, when I just enjoy life, and stop being afraid of food (like last Christmas) I felt really good, I ate a lot of "unhealthy" food and I felt good... And also I had chest pain, and once I put myself an injection of B vitamins it disappeared, so that also made me doubt if it all is TMS 😔😔😔
An vitamin B injection is not a solution to pain. Have you actually had your levels tested. Unless you have had gastric surgery or have a inherited disease and you eat healthy food , the injection has just calmed your brain, like a placebo. Vitamin B levels once stable and at sufficient levels don't just fall away. Think you're feeding your brain fear. Been down the same route. Of course rule out the nasty stuff. Not sure where you're based, I'm UK. To get a B12 injection on NHS, levels have to be low. Been there, I have trouble digesting certain foods. I didn't take the injection. Every now and then I take a half tablet of a top quality b12 (there are poor quality types available)that melts under my tongue. Solgar cobalamin . Wishing you calm
I have been reluctant to post this “story.” I’m not sure why, but I now think it might help. I call it the Double Blind Study.
A couple years ago, I was suffering from symptoms of interstitial cystitis (IC). It still rises to the surface once in a great while, like a backache does for others, when I’m super stressed. However, with the TMS work and a firm sense of knowing, it abated substantially, 98%.
One of the things about IC is this concept of substances that make symptoms flare. Foods. Sitting positions. Vitamins are a big one- huge flares when I took vitamins.
Once I discovered TMS-PDP, how’d I prove it to myself? How did I make myself understand that this was TMS? I bought liquid vitamin D, a very typical flare substance for me. I had my husband add vitamin D to my drink at his discretion. He tracked it on a calendar. Meanwhile I tracked my symptoms on a calendar. Neither of us were able to see each other’s calendars (the double blind part). At the end of a time period, I think it was a like eight weeks, we compared our calendars. What we saw astonished me. NO correlation between symptoms and vitamin D ingestion. None.
I wanted to try the same thing with gluten as I was gluten free at the time, due to IBS. But my husband said, “Aren’t you bored with this? Don’t you know that so much of this is TMS?” So, I just dove in and ate bread with enjoyment. Pure abandon.
And I never looked back. My life transformed with The Study. And it continues to be a journey of discovery as I uncover all the ways my mindbody has been tricking me for years. Without needing to organize a study around it.
I hope this helps. Best wishes.
I was there too. It’s hard to believe it’s your brain, but it is. The quicker you accept that it’s just anxiety and fully rest in knowing that while living your life despite the symptoms the quicker they leave.
You will not believe 100% until your symptoms are gone. You don't need to believe 100%. You just need to take a leap of faith and try going all in on treating it like it's TMS. It's scary because you're worried that you're wrong, and it won't be helping. But are you really risking irreversible damage? The most you're risking, is prolonging your suffering, but you'll still be able to come back to your non-TMS plan if it doesn't work out. So just give it a go. Go all in, for a while. Do everything as if it's TMS. Give the method time to work, and then see if you start to get good feedback from your body that helps you believe easier.
Make friends with your symptoms. Welcome them. Change your relationship with them so that when you feel them, instead of treating them with aversion and avoidance, treat them like welcome friends. Then your brain will start to get the message that you're not in danger, and in time will be able to turn down its warning signals.
Do what you know you're supposed to do, eat healthy and exercise, and just live your life. You'll notice that when you're having a pleasant time and not paying attention, your stomach won't hurt, and that's how you know it's not a real issue with your body, but your brain.
Thank you for helping me with my future complete healing. I'm so excited to have my new improved self back!
We will do it ! We will one day pain free en for ever , just give some time.👌
thank u so much Dan...this is really what i need to hear...You're an angel
You are so welcome
I scored 48 out of 50. I've done your tests like 100 different times throughout the last year and a half.ive read a million tms books I follow every tms coach there is. I am living my life but the pain is there . I'm not even scared of it but its just annoying as hell
Reading and listening is not a cure. Living your life is not a cure. Teaching safety is the cure. Consciously, you may not be afraid, but the subconscious is still perceiving danger. Being annoyed "as hell"....is that conveying safety or danger? Our response to the pain may not be fear or panic anymore. But we need to move into the unconcerned, disinterested, I'm really okay category. Safety is different than less fear. th-cam.com/video/Ez9Ez49M8Ig/w-d-xo.html
What compelling evidence of safety are you creating consistently?
@@PainFreeYou as the day went on I am at work now and pain is very minimal this is usually how my day has gone for the passed month. Very inconsistent . Yes you are right. I still have thoughts of danger I need to catch myself when they come up. Thanks for the reply
Thank you for reminders dan
I feel the pressure to journal from other people both online and in life as it seems to be mandatory from many clinicians but it ramps up my symptoms.
It is not mandatory. I have many success stories who did not journal. Focus on safety. My approach is mapped out here: DansFastStart.com
Thx Dan ❤❤
Thank you so much for your videos Dan, you’re truely helping me. Lately I feel as though I’ve really spiralled into despair. As my migraines have amplified the past two months I see the fear of the next one as a constant thought in the back of my mind as though I’m just waiting. So much fear. It’s a vicious cycle. Your videos are really helping me to bring my mind back to centre. So much gratitude. Thank you 🙏🏼
You are so welcome
Had a horrible fibro flare up today. The fear felt so real, but I came across this and yoy reminded me that I was dojng so mych better when I was following your safety advice
Thank you thank you thank you for these reminders! They help so much!
Glad you like them!
Thank you
“Hi, I’m home.” 😂🙏❤️
Thank you Dan . I’m more than ready for this end 💗
You can do this. Focus on safety.
Thanks Dan
Hi Dan I recently found you and am grateful for your videos every day. I had a flair up for the first time today. I’m trying not to panic and am taking to my brain. But I was wondering if it is ok to take Advil for the pain or is it counter productive??
Hi Dan I so appreciate you. What if pain symptoms are caused by arthritis, how do you work with arthritis? Thanks!
Arthritis is a normal part of aging. As we get older, we all have it. What if the pain is caused by the brain perceiving danger and not the arthritis? Take the assessments to see what is really causing your pain. IsThisPDP.com
By the way, my mom lives in a senior living home where the average age is 90. She tells me that nobody is walking around complaining about their pains. Yes, they are worried about other health issues and falling and complaining that their kids don't visit enough. But they are not complaining about chronic pain. To me, this means that arthritis doesn't need to hurt.
The assessment will tell you what is going on with YOUR situation.
Dan could you please elaborate on the part you said “Sometimes the danger can be the symptoms themselves…” Ty ❤
Simply - fearing the symptoms keeps the brain perceiving danger. Teaching the brain safety - including the fact that the symptoms are not dangerous is part of recovery.
Hi Dan, any thoughts about setting a zoom group call that Australians can sign up for? Your current times are all during the in the am hours during the working week. There is one that comes in on Monday at 11 pm but I gotta work the next day :)
It’s tough to believe our brains (not us) are causing lots of pain
Blaming ourselves is not beneficial or accurate. None of this is our fault. It's just where we ended up. th-cam.com/video/Apa0E65LTUU/w-d-xo.html

My brain is perceiving danger everytime I wake up my back just starts aching . I know its tms and I know so much about this stuff I could write a book or teach a course. Ugh
And how do you react when your back starts aching? Little to no concern? Disinterest? Indifference? Or annoyance and frustration? Our response is key.
@@PainFreeYou sometimes I am a little concerned but I go about my day as normal anyway. But I would say its still a little concerning. I will continue this work until the fire burns out completely. I know it will. I have came so far
@@Immortalsoul669That's the best thing to do. Just keep living your life and don't let the back pain stop you. I did physical therapy for 3 months, 3 times a week, for back pain and sciatica. I was even scheduled for a steroid epidural shot on my back, but I stumbled upon these videos and it changed everything. I finished physical therapy and canceled the steroid shot appt. Now I am mostly pain free with a little flare here and there that I just try to talk myself out of it. It happens when I'm really stressed. When I'm having a flare though I'm not scared of it like I used to be. And my MRI showed two bulging discs and an annular tear, but I still had more improvements from these TMS videos than I did from 3 months of physical therapy.
Hey Dan, I developed cpps from a scare of getting and STD but I got nothing, I’ve been practicing not being scared, but one thing is when I do squats I feel myself more tense down there sometime. Should my focus be on do other leg movements or teach myself not to be scared of squatting
First of all, drop the CPPS label. The label is not helpful and is just a description. Do the assessments to determine if it's TMS/Perceived Danger Pain. IsThisPDP.com If it is, focus on safety. Squatting isn't dangerous. Your brain just perceives that it is. Yes, teach the brain your body is fine.
What if your symptoms are not TMS and caused by post covid and getting all different symptoms but not pain how do we get rid of that
As Dan says, you don’t have a million different things wrong with you. Those symptoms are from fear. It seems to be that the people that had Covid early on experience long covid but I think it’s because of the fear that surrounded it at that time when no one really knew what we were dealing with.
Many with "post covid" are getting better with these concepts. It's not just about pain, teaching your brain you are safe works for all sorts of symptoms.

Hi dan, Question, My brain will turn off one signal and ill go a day or two being great, But then when i seem to not obsess over the work ill have another random symptom come back, Should i continue to do the work everyday until its longterm gone? I’m not longterm pain (6weeks) but ive gone thru long term stress for sure (eliminated all) . Thanks!
Well ive begin Dr Hopping. Yesterday my PC today extensive blood panel. Then a referral to a Neurologist. Im blaming my covid of 26 mo ago for: numb burning feet legs on nerve damage. I cannot lose the fear even though my neck now hurts & shldr tendonitis. I need to know or i stay on hampster wheel
it will get better and you will conquer the fear, just believe in it. i am on my journey for the last 6 months with ebv infection and post viral fatigue, the nerve damage/ pain you are talking about aswell round about 30 other symptoms. it will get better, be sure about that. day by day. have been at that stage, too. everything will be good. stay strong, you will make it
The clue that it is TMS is the variety of symptoms moving around your body when you ignore one of them. You cannot possibly have all those conditions. It is the same with me. Every morning is : “what will it be today, or this minute , or this hour…?
Is there something wrong with my brain because it keeps perceiving danger? What if you keep reassuring yourself but the symptoms don’t go away?
Is myofascial pain/trigger points TMS?
I have those problems and it is 100% TMS.
Yes, but you can find out for sure with the assessments I discuss in the third video of my playlist. But watch all the videos: DansFastStart.com
I've been suffering nerve pain for years. I've had a multilevel lumbar fusion, kyphoplasty 3 vertebrae and just recently a right SI joint fusion. It has helped with that right sided SI pain however the left side is horrible. Surgery on that in a few weeks. Both legs burn like crazy. Do opiates help? Somewhat....14 years of suffering dt workers comp continuance of denials. My bad habit is holding my breath...I do it unconsciously until it's brought to my attention. If all else fails it may mean pain pump to have any quality of life...sometimes I think I have no brain...70 yr old brain.😒
Are you aware of the concepts I teach? It seems you are still very much into the medical world. Watch my fast start playlist. Take the assessments in the third video of the playlist. And if it indicates TMS, then apply the concepts in the rest of the videos. DansFastStart.com
I've found if the pain is TMS and fear based then even the strongest opiates will not touch it. Surgeries help if you believe they will but the pain will just move to another area as you haven't dealt with the underlying issue I.e. the TMS. Your body would have already healed from the surgeries, its just your brain you have to deal with now. It will take work but I believe you can do it. You just need to unlearn all the medical diagnosis and what they say it means. Your body is fine, it's just the mind now.
@@PainFreeYou my issue is with my spine...disc herniations pressing on nerves is not something you can live with.
I recognize what you have been told is causing the pain. Are you aware of TMS/PDP? Have you taken the assessments to determine if the disc pressing on nerves is the true cause of pain, or if the brain perceiving danger is the true cause. My fast start playlist could be very beneficial even if you do decide to pursue that surgery. DansFastStart.com Assessment: IsThisPDP.com
Lastly, can a Mindbody approach help all pain: th-cam.com/video/tNS0Eqn8N_0/w-d-xo.html @@Cecelia1211
Well I took test and scored 20.
At this time my pain is due to displacement of my SI joints. That pain is very very debilating. In December I had the right side done which resolved the pain however the horrific pain remains on my left side. I'm currently undergoing an epidural on the left and if it decreases the level then I'll have a fusion on that side as well. I have an old nurses back as what my Dr's have stated and I do agree.
Is there a test for other symptoms? A pain test isn’t going to tell me anything because I don’t have any pain?
The assessments work for all symptoms!!! No matter which!!! I don´t have pain either but other symptoms and found myself absolutely in the concept of perceived danger symptoms and it already started to work. Calming the nervous system and creating safety always makes a difference and helps! You are at the right place here! ❤💫❤
Rike Gr is correct. Substitute your symptom for the word pain. The FIT assessment doesn't mention the word pain.
Do the FIT assessment below. If you answer yes to even one of the criteria, that is an indicator that your brain creates the pain based on perceived danger. Your body is not the problem.
FUNCTIONAL:
-Symptoms begin without physical precipitation
-Symptoms persist after an injury has healed (3-6 mo)
-Symptoms are in a distribution pattern that is symmetric
-Symptoms occur on one whole side of the body or occur on half of the face, head, or torso
-Symptoms spread over time to different areas of the body
-Symptoms radiate to the opposite side of the body or down a whole leg or arm
-Symptoms that occur in many different body parts at the same time
-Symptoms that have a quality of tingling, electric, burning, numb, hot or cold
INCONSISTENT:
-Symptoms shift from one location in the body to another
-Symptoms are more or less depending on the time of day. Or they occur first thing in the morning or in the middle of the night.
-Symptoms occur after, but not during, an activity or exercise
-Symptoms occur when one thinks about them or when someone asks about them.
-Symptoms occur when stresses increase or one thinks about stressful situations
-Symptoms are minimal or nonexistent when engaged and joyful or distracting activities, such as when on vacation
-Symptoms are minimal or nonexistent after some kind of therapy, such as massage, chiropractic, Reiki, acupuncture, an herbal or vitamin supplement
TRIGGERED:
-symptoms are triggered by things that are not related to the actual symptoms, such as foods, smells, sounds, light, computer screens, menses, changes in the weather
-symptoms are triggered by the anticipation of stress, such as prior to school, work, a doctor's visit, a medical test, a visit to a relative, or a social gathering; or during those activities
-symptoms that are triggered by simply imagining engaging in the triggering activity such as bending over, turning the neck, sitting or standing
-symptoms that are triggered by light touch or innocuous stimuli, such as the wind or cold
Is knee pain/discomfort a common TMS symptom.
Any pain can be TMS!
Does rheumatoid arthritis come under the TMS umbrella. It’s in my family
Hey Glenn - the best way to know if your symptoms are TMS is to do both of the assessments here: IsThisTMS.com If it's TMS, then that's what it is and you can get better. Unless you have been formally diagnosed with RA, I wouldn't self diagnose yourself. Rule in TMS.
❤
Thanks for the information.❤️💚🩷
