I'm looking into crepe paper projects thanks to the newest Cameo! But I'm worried about removing and tearing crepe paper from the sticky mat due to how fragile crepe paper is and how sticky the mats tend to be. Do you have any tips on how to ensure that the crepe paper pieces come out in one piece without being curled up or damaged from removing from the mat?

I would like to know what are the settings to cut crepe papers. What material type I should choose since there is no option for crepe paper. I used fabric setting and did not turn out great.

Hi Esther! There's an option for crepe paper in the settings in the latest version of Silhouette Studio. If you don't see it, you can send us an email at support@silhouetteamerica.com.

I think this video is deceptive and not helpful, as it does NOT explain anything about how she cut these fllowers out on the Silhouette. Crepe paper settings are not an automatic….. even with this Silhouette Cameo 4 machine, nothing is automatic and you have to finagle the machine settings to get it to work. So far, even the Lia Griffith videos and instructions on how she does the crepe paper settings is extremely difficult! Always an advocate for all the Cameo machines so far, I am not impressed with the Cameo 4 at all. I bought it to do crepe paper flowers, and so far I’ve not been successful!
