It's new, it has different animations from other stands so you can't tell when to parry or not. Sooner or later (unless you're bad) you will learn how to parry it, realizing it's not game breaking.

as an anubis boxing main, this stand is batshit crazy. the m1 pressure is good and it forces opponents to start panicking at close range. m1 x 3 into eye gouge also works very well and combos into anything you want
I got Anubis within my first 15 arrows. I also main vamp so i wanted to see what vamp Anubis is like and its OP. The combo only works if the opponent barrages first, then you sword barrage, then freeze the opponent, do some m1s and do Enraged fury. That combo leaves the opponent at 20% hp/ a quarter of hp left. Tell me if you have any other vamp anubis combos, it would help a lot

i got anubis hamon 2 days ago, and here are my takes upon some statements eclipse said (correct me if im wrong, and i will also update this comment): -cursed Imbued slice can be used for extra damage as it barely stuns your opponent and is a possible combo starter -you CAN escape a most of the stuns if you use afterimage RIGHT before the hit as it has no windup and buffs your speed -another usage to after image woukd be to deal a move that knocks your opponent and using afterimage to catch up to them and maybe chaining a few moves -if timed properly Cursed Imbued Slice can be really useful as it inflicts bleeding damage and allows to attack immediately after the animation is done -despite the huge cooldown cursed blade aka counter move is much better than eclipse described it, the windup is pretty short and is a great combo starter. though i wouldnt recommend using it against very fast moves like sptw's kick barrage, any barrage, silver chariot's spin thingy move, enraged fury and many other moves as it will nit land and get canceled. please reply to this comment if i missed something, or if im wrong
I was there when reborn was streaming 1v1s. The only reason he used it was because you were invisible, like completely, no model or anything, on his screen and there was no way he could see your attacks coming. (it's been happening a lot to people.)

to think Uzu went from adding stun simulator stands that still have counterplay and are fun to use albeit sometimes unfair to fight against to blox fruit attack spam stands with no counterplay whatsoever where even counters are useless due to the sheer amount of 40 damage ranged attacks constantly thrown at you
I'm using the AOT skin for Anubis with boxing and it's so fun crushing bad players. Like seriously. People just don't know how to fight this STILL. So underrated. I know rlly good combos for it too! It's one of the most balanced stands in the game I'd say.
with anubis, there's a bug to become only an arm and a leg (or another body part- its only happened to me once) it happened when i used afterimage on someone who was barrage clashing (but there was also a cream, so he might have used a limb-remove while i was in afterimage, which seems more plausible) also, when you get hit by an effect as anubis (burn, poison, bleeding), the visual part of it wont go away until you die easy to say anubis is one of the buggier stands
Hey Eclipse, i got a very good idea to buff Crazy Diamond. We should shortend the rock move to only about 4 seconds, and then add "Dora Beatdown". I think the beatdown should be 0.6 damage per hit and deal about half health.
Yooo I just got an idea for sbr: so you have 5 people and you have to win standless but you each have a different spec so one has hamon, boxing, spin, vamp, and pluck
best part of hamon anubis is you can just do god of death > m1 x3 (poison) > curse imbued slice (bleed) > m1 x3 (refresh poison/stun) > scarlet overdrive (burn or block break) > dash (similar to kc’s scarlet overdrive > impale) + m1 x3 > barrage > m1 x3 > enraged fury prob not true but if it is you get all 3 effects
I just wanna say that after image is actually sort of useful. Let’s say you’re in a kick barrage, and they’re gonna hit you Heath the last hit. Since it’s a sort of slow windup, you can then use after image and start combining them. You can use afterimage to dodge slow kind of moves, which I think is viable when you’re fighting. I also wanna say that, if you’re using Anubis, never barrage first, because you’re just gonna be punished after that.
Ok so again with the ts, if you use the escape move before they ts you will be time stopped but you’ll be put somewhere else by that i mean on the persons screen that used ts they might see you in the spot you were in when they used time stop but in reality you’re a couple inches back or forward from where you originally works which allows you to escape the ts
So here is my opinion abt Anubis: +abut the moveset, those pretty decent barrge and fury can be a true combo, the bigger barrge finisher ( forgot the name) is use for combo finisher or in the case that you out of skill to use , the buff skill is not too op cuz the poison have chance to trigger and it make you can't lose stand, the counter is good dmg and cool effect but the time it can be triggered is pretty quick, aftertime is great for chasing or running or surprise attack that will give you advance beyond your opponent( don't speed up when riding a horse) + the passive is great since it make your m1 super good and with your high range attack (higher than normal stand) , make your m1 a perfect combo starter +spec: Anubis is very decent at almost every side so it can go very well with every spec, best with pluck or spin, cuz those specs provide a range attack and high stun that can extend combo with Anubis +conclusion: Anubis is a great stand that isn't too op or too weak like sp. I don't think it will be forgotten by the community cuz it overall good, cool effect and sound ,the only non-humanoid stand can barrge back
I’m pretty sure the reason the counter has a huge cool down and huge startup is because it does 40 DAMAGE (50 with hamon) so since it does so much damage it kinda has to be balanced that way but that’s my opinion

Hey Eclipse, i got a very good idea to buff Crazy Diamond. We should shortend the rock move to only about 4 seconds, and then add "Dora Beatdown". I think the beatdown should be 0.6 damage per hit and deal about half health.
Yooo I just got an idea for sbr: so you have 5 people and you have to win standless but you each have a different spec so one has hamon, boxing, spin, vamp, and pluck

best part of hamon anubis is you can just do
god of death > m1 x3 (poison) > curse imbued slice (bleed) > m1 x3 (refresh poison/stun) > scarlet overdrive (burn or block break) > dash (similar to kc’s scarlet overdrive > impale) + m1 x3 > barrage > m1 x3 > enraged fury

I just wanna say that after image is actually sort of useful. Let’s say you’re in a kick barrage, and they’re gonna hit you Heath the last hit. Since it’s a sort of slow windup, you can then use after image and start combining them. You can use afterimage to dodge slow kind of moves, which I think is viable when you’re fighting. I also wanna say that, if you’re using Anubis, never barrage first, because you’re just gonna be punished after that.
SCR/The Hand review would be nice (dont want to pressure you, you do a lot of work and effort already)
Here's a small tip for anubis. When you are using the counter, you can counter some uncounterable moves like Road Roller.
As Anubis user in ABD and YBA,i 100% agree with this video.
The moveset ,animation , particles, those all on high level.

Ok so again with the ts, if you use the escape move before they ts you will be time stopped but you’ll be put somewhere else by that i mean on the persons screen that used ts they might see you in the spot you were in when they used time stop but in reality you’re a couple inches back or forward from where you originally works which allows you to escape the ts
So here is my opinion abt Anubis:
+abut the moveset, those pretty decent barrge and fury can be a true combo, the bigger barrge finisher ( forgot the name) is use for combo finisher or in the case that you out of skill to use , the buff skill is not too op cuz the poison have chance to trigger and it make you can't lose stand, the counter is good dmg and cool effect but the time it can be triggered is pretty quick, aftertime is great for chasing or running or surprise attack that will give you advance beyond your opponent( don't speed up when riding a horse)
+ the passive is great since it make your m1 super good and with your high range attack (higher than normal stand) , make your m1 a perfect combo starter
+spec: Anubis is very decent at almost every side so it can go very well with every spec, best with pluck or spin, cuz those specs provide a range attack and high stun that can extend combo with Anubis
+conclusion: Anubis is a great stand that isn't too op or too weak like sp. I don't think it will be forgotten by the community cuz it overall good, cool effect and sound ,the only non-humanoid stand can barrge back
I’m pretty sure the reason the counter has a huge cool down and huge startup is because it does 40 DAMAGE (50 with hamon) so since it does so much damage it kinda has to be balanced that way but that’s my opinion
FINNALY, ever since i started playng yba , ive wanted anubis to join the stand roster, AND ITS FINNALY HERE, my abd main is finnaly on yba too :D.
