Aerosmith wins those close up fights because vola barrage is broken, even if blocked which is the only way to counter it, it still breaks block, and with every single server lagging you can't block and lose a third of your health, and on top of that in sbr you can stack other barrages with it
If you’re an Aerosmith Boxing main, there’s a really good combo to use when your opponent wasted his barrage when you’re using vola barrage, go in front of him and use jaw breaker, after a few seconds when he gets up, you can immediately use propeller charge, basically 60 dmg.
I got a better combo with vamp, If he wastes his barrage while in vola barrage You go close to him and use the ice move to freeze him after he is frozen use propeller charge then use the bomb move,its a very spamable combo and it deals around 90 dmg if done correctly

I started maining aero hamon in early September when the update dropped. I thought people would realise it faster but Eclipse found this out in late October. Here's some combos for people who wanna use aero. Go in pilot as soon as the match starts, Do the TERET, ERET or RET combo for an instant 50-80%hp drop for the enemy. Then repeat this again and again every 10 seconds cuz its fun doe.
Eclipse, I’m pretty new at yba and already reach prestige 3. The only thing I can do now is to play SBR or Coloseum. The problem is that I don’t have any basic skills to fight actual people and I always lose in those modes which made me really bored with the game. Can you made a video how to pvp properly because i genuinely love this game and i want to keep playing it.
I'm honestly the same way but for some reason I'm really good at sbr? (Probably because I play D4C Hamon support). Anyways a lot of it is learning your combos and remembering to stay calm and use them rather than button mash. Easier said than done though. I recommend casual SBR or main game to learn the feel of pvp since they have no real weight. Basically just practice your combos, staying calm, and PBing, and reading players of you wanna get really sweaty
Honestly you just play to learn. I've been playing upon release and the more you play the better you just get naturally. You just need to learn consistent combos or follow ups, learn how to bait out players, etc.
If I'm being honest the best way to learn for me is 1v1s or main game. Simply ask people to help u pb and train with you. Then when u are good enough to to 1v1s and learn some more from actual pvp. GL
Aerosmith was like this since the Ora Beatdown rework update. They quite literally said in the patch notes of that update that they significantly buffed Aerosmith’s Vola Barrage damage. Like if you went into at least 5 SBR games like a month ago, you’d see at least 1 team that had an Aerosmith user and wiped a bunch of people. It was the reason why I temporarily mained Aerosmith + Spin.

Using maximum regen on aerosmith actually helps quite a lot, because of the duration of vola barrage and how long it will keep the enemy from attacking you
