Gurren Lagann is probably the most underrated anime out there. It gets a bad rep for how cartoony the first 6 episodes are. But after THAT MOMENT. You realize how much those words of encouragement really mean. Honestly, this series and its philosophical demeanor has actually helped me through arguably the hardest moments of my life and helped me fight through my depression. This series it's a must watch for everyone of all ages.
@@MM-qo2ww it's kind of stereotypical with battle anime. Where battle spirit overcomes and everything will be okay and there's no consequences. It's not until after his death that the series gets more dark and you appreciate the light times of everything.. but people can't take it seriously enough to get past that point. They just seemingly can't take it seriously enough and call it cartoony and childish.

The best ending for me is from No game No life Zero.. It so emotional talking about how human survive in the age of powerful creature.. Although human are weak but human will never giver up.. There is always a hope for humanity
Yes, Franx made me cry because of how much 02 was willing to struggle for her feelings, if they have something to fight for, they will go to such heights to protect those they cared about the most... Same goes for Gurren Lagann...their pure willpower alone was enough to make people cry out of joy, the fact that he will pierce the heavens so that he can meet his deceased bros...
Well, most of battles in Dragon Ball are at world-ending level, especially after the introduction of Majin Buu. Seriously, Buu and SS Blue could destroy Earth with a casual energy blast, and Beerus could do it with a flick of finger

Namekian planet litterally exploded, and battle at the end of Dragon Ball Super, multiple universes are erased from existence just to be restoted. If it were not for Namekian Dragon Ball, there would be no Earth since Buu destroyed it. Since the introduction of Frieza, all main antagonists are capable of destroying entire Earth, which gradually becomes easier (Cell's self-destruction, Evil Buu, Beerus, Golden Frieza, Black Goku, and currently Moro).

Gurren Lagann is one of the best peices of fiction, or media. For me at least, it goes as a reminder to what I strive for. At one point I sat by and let my life run by me, drive me wherever it wanted. I didn't care, and I thought if I didn't care about anything, if I had less morals, if I understood every secret the world offered then I would be fine. I was missing somthign in my life. You have to strive to be a happy person, it doesn't just walk up on you. Even the most happy people out in the effort. After I stopped trying to find happiness inside of my own misery I was able to see whT I was doing. When your faced with an issue, you can't just sit down and let life drive by, or just think your life isn't worth the effort. Your life is yours and you have to put in the effort to make it what you want. If you can do that, you can kick that logic to the curb and make your own. Becuase who the they'll do you think you are? Thats that matters, what you think you are. You are what you make yourself, and your life is in your own hands. What Gurren Lagann does is amazing becuase they don't care about having complex plots, or having dark themes that make you ponder about the meaning of life. They go strait to what they ant to do, and they do it the best they can. You can feel just how much they careabiut this when you watch this show. Everything from the character designs, to fhr actiosn, to the dialog, it doesn't make sense, but who cares. They out everything they had into Gurren Lagann and I can feel it, it makes me feel somthing. Every time I watch Gurren Lagann is reminds me that nothing can stop you from doing what you want as pong as you put everything into it. Thats what I believe Gurren Lagann purpose is, to show us we are ourselves. No logic can hold you down as long as you keep on digging towards your dream and stay positive. Thats why Gurren Lagann makes no sense, and that's why it also makes more sense than any other show at the same time.
To those people that Gundam God Tiers are Low Multiversal, Simon scales in a higher tier, and the Anti Spiral is an 10-dimensional being, thus making Simon High Complex Multiverse Level.

I wouldve preferred that then watching him planning to go in to try to rescue her have some decently sized fights have him go through some pretty hard fights then try to absorb everything to save her only for her to be like nah I'll take your sight, and you still won't get to stay with me. So after all that work he was left with quite a few deaths no sight, missing arm( I know he gets a fake but still) and still doesn't get to stay with her. But uhh yeah......don't really like the ending.......

Thank you dear poster, because I hate seeing Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, and DBZ in every damn top 10. Their good "intro" series to anime, but they are hardly THAT good. TTGL easily outshines all those series combined.
