Focus, could you tell me how at one time hip hop switched from normal size tot oversized or baggy clothing? Or point me out on which book article talks about it?
In a workshop, if I remember correctly; Storm told us it was because oversized clothes make you look bigger and stronger, therefore scarier, even if you were a skinny guy. Also plenty of more room to conceal drugs or weapons. I suppose then it became the "standard" hip-hop fashion during the media boom.
