Sir , i tried your version of Rice kesari bath . It came as you did. Unfortunately my family members were asking for more , cooked limited quantity 250Gms rice . Amazing sir , ratio was perfect when i did it at home . I am planning to do it again in Navarathri . Added info : Rice Kesari bath is famous in Chidambaram temple as neivedhyam which is in TN. Its called kalkandu Sakarapongal , instead of sugar they use kalkandu , steps are same.

I feel adding jaggery will taste more or less like sakara Pongal without pasi parupu. Many do sakara Pongal without parupu using rice and jaggery only
