For that what you can do you can either bake the rice first then allow it to cool. Use essential oils before placing the rice in the bag, or sprinkle 1 teaspoon of baking baking soda per cup of rice 🍚 Hope this helps! 🙂

Flax seed would be better to use so it doesn't burn and stink adding lavender also. Love the look of this beautiful fabric

How long should it be microwaved for? Making for a friend and I don’t want it to burn!

I feel like using cotton thread would be good, just to be safe.
You need to use cotton thread, polyester will burn in the microwave

Nope. I have had mine for a year now and use it all the time. The rice smells fine.
