Awesome stuff. I also keep all my swimbaits in the Plano waterproof boxes. Love it, never had an issue with bent tails or anything. It was actually one of your videos years ago that made me start storing them this way. Those new Plano bags look pretty cool. I'm gonna have to pick up a few and give'em a try. Thanks for all the gear videos! Tight Lines Brother!! Happy Fathers Day coming up!!
I use a Plano speed bag and a zman bait binder in my tackle backpack. Its not a perfect solution but its the best one I have found so far. I tried at one time putting my baits in a 3600 regular tray. The oils in the baits warped the removable dividers so bad that they became completely useless. Good video man. Tight lines to you and Big Mike.
I have a bunch of the KVD soft plastic storage bags and they are good and you are right, can't see whats in these unless they are labeled. These bags that you showed look great and they make it easy to see what's in these! Great video and thanks for sharing!
Great video!!! I just start using the BPS bags. They come in two size Med & Large both have zippers almost look like the Plano bags. I love them. Take up less space in my boat compared to the utility boxes. Stay Safe & God Bless!!! 🤠👍
I copied you from way back one of your first videos on storing the baits in the Plano waterproof boxes. I use a lot of plastics and really like the Plano waterproof boxes for several reasons. They store in the boat or at the house easily and don't leak. Being able to see what's in the box and the array of choices of colors when you open it sometimes makes me change to a different color just seeing other colors side by side. All my jig trailers and pitching baits I carry regularly have been stored in them now for years. No issues with dried out baits and only slight waviness of some of the dividers. 👍🏼👍🏼
Clam shell only for paddle tails. I've had them warp badly in 3700 boxes. The oils also over time warp the lids on any boxes that don't have the three or four latches. The bags are good for trips but not long term storage. Soft plastics warp in any heat if left in those, bad enough they do it in regular packaging lol. I prefer clam packaging inside regular packing. All your baits stay straight and in good condition that way. That's why I like strike king rage packaging, googan packaging and ones like those.
You must be an orthopedic surgeon or an orthodontist to afford all of those soft plastics. It blows my mind to see you guys with three or $4000 worth of soft plastic baits.
@@TackleJunky81 from my experience the craw doesn’t take a EWG well. It’s the awkward length but super thick bodied bait so it doesn’t work well for me. Maybe you can elaborate some with your thoughts and experiences
As long as I’ve been subbed and can remember.. I still can’t figure out how you’re able to fish with only one tackle box and 3 Rods total, very very slim picking on stuff to use LOL 👍🏼
I like the Buzbee bags instead of plano bags they stay better shape. The plano bags get whit film inside the bags after a while I woudl rather go with Buzbee bags a lot better quality easy to get in.
Big Mike could get a lot of usage grabbing a 5.11 MOAB 8 or 10 bag for Tackle, I get Military Hand-Me-Downs from my 2 Sons lol and I use a Hazard 4 urban recon 17 sling bag for my Tackle bag lol it’s extremely comfortable and just sling over a shoulder. The 5.11 LV10 is also great and lightweight one and done. I also use the Ziplock single freezer bags lol I don’t have that many soft plastics to necessitate a 3700 bag but they are nice. Stay safe my Friend, Semper Fidelis
Good video Jim, good tips. Glad to see big Mike on the video 🤛👍
Thank you brother! 👊💪
Nice Setup in the bags. Donation to the “Big Mike” Appearance.!
Much appreciated brother! 👊💪
👏 for Big Mike. Thanks for the video sir.
Appreciate you! 👊
I’ve had all Yum bags leak after you rip off the top. Might be the constant heat here in Fla.
Good to know brother! Appreciate you watching! 👊
Must be that Florida heat !! Never had that happen up here in Massachusetts
I subbed not too long ago and all I gotta say is that I love the videos and I like the way you break stuff down. Great stuff man keep it up!
Much appreciated brother! 👊💪

The Plano bags look like they could be used for more than just tackle. May have to get some of those.

Clam shells are a love and hate for storage. Perfect baits but very cumbersome.
Agreed!

He's taller than me now.

I'm neither, but I do own my own business. Appreciate you watching! 👊
Soon I want to see a crush city plastics review
You got it! 👊💪

Hey TJ In the 3,600 bag of red shads do you take them out of the original bags? Do they leak through that bag?
I do, and I've stored my worms in those bags a couple of seasons now with no leaks.
As long as I’ve been subbed and can remember..

Some days I'll only use 1 bait! 😂 Appreciate the continued support brother! 👊
