Steve, i had a dutch ration just last week on my vacation trip to Hamburg. This dutch rations are very good. Mine was a bit out of date. The BBF date was March 2018 but it all was still edible and in a very good condition. I did not eat all of the ration but i enjoyed the components i had. I pimped my porridge with some cherry jam i had in mine. Main lunch was minced meat with potatoes.
Yeah it is easier to pimp out the porridge with cherry jam than prune lol. Glad to hear you enjoyed yours i love 24 hour rations that have lots of goodies in them. Would be interesting to see you start doing some reviews. Also i thought i saw you mention it a while back and your background kind of gives it away but do you still build models? I have not had the time for years but have some i think enjoy for an interesting change. Just wish you lived closer lol. Thanks for watching Carsten!
Steve, i still build models. If you could see my stash of unbuild model kits i have at home. Must be around 60-70 kits. Tanks and Planes. That is my main hobby. It takes a lot of my free time. That's also the reason i don't think of doing ration reviews at the moment. Maybe someday. And yeah i live a bit far away.

Oh wow a dutch ration, man I really want to try one of these someday. that is one big breakfast with both porridge and Muesli. The beef soup looks good. Yeah when the pate turns green time to pass on it. Dinner looks good too thanks for the great review.
Yeah this was easily a big breakfast and that porridge easily needs the jam/jelly for some flavor. Other than that lots of food and drinks to last a while you would enjoy it and thanks for watching Kahlest!

Yeah, we Dutch like our Boullion (broth).... Nowadays people get more ready soups... but when I was Younger there was a pan of broth on the stove.... and in winter just taking a cup of broth to warm you up...... OHHHH MAN.....

Pork Pate in an MRE!! Do you know how happy I would be if I opened up an American MRE and found Pate of any kind? Even a vegetable Pate would be outstanding.

I think you could be a decent stone layer 😉 you align these items out on the table without a second of hesitation, it's almost like a puzzle. You deserve way more subs!! I have to ask though do you not eat the day prior of these 24 hours? Or are you doing these separate like one in the morning, lunch and dinner? Yeah i always liked getting everything laid out nice and neat but there are also some people that think i am just being too fidgety. You can never seem to please everyone but i mainly just do it for the thumbnail pic. I also like the 24 hour rations that have a lot of goodies. The Swedish rations have a lot of stuff, which i do have one here i should review next month, and the Aussie CR1M is another that is nicely loaded. Ol Mate Dropbear reviewed one last week i think. As for the reviews i always do them when i get home from work. As for the 24 hour rations i do the breakfast on Monday, the lunch on Wednesday, and the dinner on Thursday or Friday and edit the video on Friday night and Saturday so they are ready to post on Sunday. What i need to do is review more mre's so i have a few on stand-by just in case. Thanks for watching Jordan!

I do like taking the time to make everything look nice but when you do a 24 hour ration it seems it may be easier to just go through everything to save time. I do try to keep my videos under 30 minutes and it can be a chore at times. I hope Kason has a great birthday. Not sure what he likes but maybe some laser tag or even a day fishing with Dad. Did you ever get your R/C truck fixed? I have a crap ton of home improvements going on so it is crazy around here. At least we have what is left of tropical storm Barry going to park itself on top of us Monday and drop the temperature almost 20 degrees below normal. Seems weird a government ration comes in a clear zip lock bag. Bit of a bummer you got the same sauce twice. These things happen in the world of rations.

I iwish the US mre's had a pate also. I hated liver when i was a kid but love it now.
