I didn't know about this function of marking an application to always stay open in multitasking even when you click to close all, very useful, I always had the habit of closing everything and today I have managed to stop doing that more, the animations are more fluid and the device seems to be faster when it doesn't keep reloading the applications every time, it's a shame that you can only mark one application to always stay open, there could be at least 3

You can definitely lock more than one app!

In my experience leaving them open drains more battery

Thanks much. I just did the latest software update on my S24U. And what I noticed is battery performance worsened. Used not to charge during the day and only at night - even with heavy usage- but now it drains much quicker and have to charge before 8pm. In devicd care i see "a full charge will last about 15h" more or less.. compared to 20h+ before. I saw you gave 1d +.
I just cleared cache partition from recovery mode and toggled adaptive power saving and that significantly extends battery life. But I don't want to run on power saving less than a year from when I got the phone...
    Any help?

For the Galaxy S24 Ultra, as this has 12Go of RAM, I'd recommend disabling the RAM Plus option, as RAM is faster than the storage device :)

I found by setting a routine of wifi strength 4 bars and less, turn on the aeroplane mode. It reverses the routine when it detects you are outside the wifi range. Make sure you have wifi calling is on, and your phone provider supports rcs for texts. By connecting to a strong single from your home wifi, in this case wifi 6 the battery life is preserved.
Sorry for the long-winded description 😊

Thanks Daniel. Very informative video but I was just wondering will you do any other reviews other than the Samsung phones? I know you’re wearing the galaxy ring? Have I missed it or have you haven’t done a comprehensive review yet?

The only hidden tip for extending battery life works instantly without affecting multitasking or any other functions. Moreover, it enhances the phone's fluidity and stability after disabling RAM Plus. This tip involves enabling Suspended Execution for Cached apps in the developer settings. Simply switch it to "Enable" to activate this feature. 😊

It would be a great help if you could make a video on battery life for the Tab S10 Ultra.

I miss when the maximum battery protection was 85%. I ended up making a routine so that it'd cap at 85%

Another one is to set display resolution to 1080p. I am not a fan of doing this, but it does use less battery.
