Have been using mine since February. Best phone I've ever had. Everything just clicks perfectly, design, hardware, software, cameras, AI, OS updates. Perfection to me.
Had S24U six months, no way im going to upgrade it, and i had to say that i like "sharp" corners, S25U leaked photos look like iPhone with those rounded corners. SD Elite brings a lot of performance over S24U, and hopefully better battery management. And Happy new year folks!
If the battery is the same size as in S24U and the CPU ismuch more powerful then I would not expect much better batter life. Even with better efficiency lets hope to get the same battery life as in S24U. Realistically. Not on paper.
I have had the S24 Ultra since launch, and have been thoroughly impressed. It's the complete package with no weak points in my opinion. I do upgrade yearly, so I'm planning on getting the S25 Ultra as well .
I just bought the S24 Ultra for Christmas coming from an iPhone 16 Pro. I absolutely love the look of this phone. Beautiful design and colour (titanium grey). Battery life is insane and doesn't overheat like my iPhone. Will be interesting to see what the S25 Ultra will be like but for now I think I'll be keeping hold of this phone for a good few years.
I've had my S24 Ultra since launch and love it! I was worried about losing the 10x zoom on the S23 Ultra, but the 5x zoom has been great! And I will be upgrading to the S25 Ultra at launch - for the best trade-in value and perks.
Been using the s24 ultra since launch, and this is the best phone I've ever owned. It just clicks all the boxes. I really love the unique square design, so I'll be keeping this phone for a few more years. No upgrade for me.
Got mine for Christmas traded in my 21U. After hearing about issues with the anti-glare coating issues i bought a high quality glass screen protector and then set it to more sensitively. The thumb print scanning is now less effective and the pen doesn't work as well... But I won't have to worry that the screen will become smudged so 🤷 The phone is awesome and I'm still learning it's tricks. Very happy so far. I set the battery to max 80% charging and at 4 pm playing audio to my pro 3 Samsung buds most of the day...or by Bluetooth to my car audio it's at 37 % which should last till bed time...I'm going to push it with watching critical role which lasts 3 hours or so on TH-cam just to see it go down to near zero. I use a good case with a magsafe ring with a magnetic pop socket so I can remove it and mount in the car. I'm debating on attaching a mag charging cable with the tiny dongle but still debating 🤔
I am using S24U for eleven months and I love it day by day using. Waiting for S25U for changing my old one. But what a pity for changing boxy form of ultra series. I loved it from galaxy note ages... Samsung is still the best choice
I got my S24 Ultra as a surprise Xmas gift from my hubby. I'm a little late..but love it! It's definitely a huge upgrade from my Google Pixel 5. He also saved $600 from the original price!!❤
I will be keeping my S24 Ultra. Hasn't given me any issues and has been an all around great phone for me. The oui 7 is good so far and can't wait to see what else they plan to add. #Samsungknights
Ive had my S24U since october and ive had nearly every s series phone and this has by far impressed me the most i love the flat screen and sharp corners its something ive wanted from samsung for quite sometime and i find it comftable to hold plus everything about it ...yes like everything in life it has its drawbacks but overall i love it so if the S25U has rounded corners ect then i dont think il be upgrading especially as they say the S24U is getting 7 years of updates so it could become the perfect phone after a few more updates so i think il be keeping it for quite sometime
Only issue I have with mine is every single video streaming app I own stutters really bad. It’s not my internet connection either and I’ve done a factory reset. Hulu, Netflix, Prime, Max, Disney+ all have a terrible frame rate stutter.
Very happy with my s24U, very good all round phone, doesn't really have any drawbacks. The only thing I noticed was batterylife on my old S23U was incredible but s24U battery is just good.
In the S25U, most people would like to see a slightly smaller body and an ultra-great camera system, perhaps with a 1-inch sensor. Personally, I would like to see a dedicated camera button feature (zooming feature is perfect) like on the iPhone. Ditching Bixby and the Galaxy Store would also be great.
I've bought myself the S24Ultra in around June coming from the A52s 5G and I really really hope I can get a somewhat free upgrade to the S25 Ultra with me putting in around 200$ at most. I love this phone and the leaks of the S25 series are just insanely good.
I'm thinking I will trade in my S24 Ultra for the S25 Ultra as I do every year. I have been using my Pixel 9 Pro XL. Having a hard time switching back to. Samsung loving the Pixel.
When you want to buy, always preorder the phone then you get a free one-level bigger storage for service. Samsung said everybody going to get free Samsung Care+ because of the higher price this year. Always check the news of Samsung's service. I'm Korean American I always get to see Korean news a lot.
Still on the S22 Ultra and becasue it was such a step change, I cant see much point to upgrade to an S24 or even the upcoming S25 so I might wait another year for the S26 to see if its a step change.
Great content. I've had my s24 ultra violet for about 4 days now, traded in my s23 ultra, and got a great deal from T-Mobile. So far, I'm getting a good 14 hours of strong on-screen time. And 23.3 hours per charge, I was hoping for at least 26 to 28 hours per charge, but maybe it will increase down the road. I'm still getting used to the flat screen. I've had curved displays since the note 10+. I think I might like it. Putting on-screen protectors is a bit easier to put on. I have the supcase unicorn beetle pro enigma for my phone, perfect match.
One great phone 🤟 I would normally have micro scratches or some wear on my phone by now but nothing, just a beautiful performance machine in your pocket! I haven't had a single glitch or issue with my S24 Ultra. It just runs great, last all day & then some & there's so much you can do with this phone. 🤟
Am disappointed that theres no macro camera. My last phone was a Huawei P30 Pro, awesome camera with macro. I bought for camera after checking comparison reviews. Can this be added?
I want to see gaming features improved for the s24 ultra gaming hub plugins etc.. I really hope Samsung improves dex squashs the 1080p cap and let's the program display whatever resolution ur tv is at
Shitty display with color banding, no smooth gradients and grain issue - that's what should be said out loud! I'm tired of samsung not fixing this issues and I bet 100% the story will be the same with s25 ultra
I love my S24U. I just dislike the ergonomics despite how insanely premium it feels. Truly top tier. However, the "oleophobic" coating (that repels smudges/oils from fingerprints) is what is the weak spot when it comes to the display. The anti-reflective properties must be in the panel itself. The coating is a sacrificial layer that only provides water/smudge resistance (similar to automotive ceramic coatings). My screen smudges and is grippy after this year. Main reason why I will prolly trade in for the S25U and for better ergonomics.
The biggest issue with the S24 Ultra is its heavy weight, which has caused me significant wrist pain after 12 months of use. This is my honest experience. Another drawback is the camera - while the 200MP feature is impressive on paper, most of us use the regular photo mode, making the 200MP capability feel like unnecessary hype. If you’re serious about photography, a DSLR would be a better investment. Prioritizing health over style is essential, and I’ve now stopped using my S24 Ultra due to persistent wrist pain. I truly miss the days when I was free from such discomfort.
Agreed , it's heavy , thick and quite big, they should've made it a bit pocket friendly, otherwise i am enjoying my s24u very much About the camera I am a hobbyist photographer and had 4 year old Sony A6000 with potrait lens , and since cameras are not as portable as phone I decided to sell it off , before Selling , i spent entire day clicking pictures with the camera then clicking same picture with S24U The S24U gives atleast 90% of the A6000's quality And in return , S24 is portable so i don't have to carry additional bag on trips , water resistant so i could click in rain , drop resistant with a spigen cover on (DSLRs are delicate ) So i think it was worth selling the camera The money i got was used to buy a PS5 yaaay😅
How can it be 12 months if the S24 Ultra started their pre-orders until January the 17th. And released on January 31st. I know 12 months sound better for your youtube channel. But come on.
Had my s24u since launch n it's flawless I think, I don't even mind the size and weight tho I can see for some people it's a issue, my bro just upgraded to one last month n he like it but he's not keen on it's size n weight as he wears alot of shorts lol, would strongly recommend the s24u, especially with oneui7 coming out too, forget the s25u n get the s24u alot cheaper on a deal
My wife and I both have had the Galaxy S24 Ultra phones since pre-order and love them. I love everything about the S24 Ultra. I do hope with UI 7 my battery gets back to normal. Unfortunately last August update the 6.1.1 update my screen on time dropped. Use to get 12 to 14 hrs easy with screen on and since update i get 9 to 10 hrs only. Also tried everything cleared cache, factory reset phone.
I love it. But I'm having issue of that anti Glare coating smug It get really annoying at times. I haven't uae no alcohol , no cleaning solution at all and it appears out of no where
S24 has given us everything we need already what else do you want ??...... A phone that can zoom the 9 planets and see what's in them??...or on that can take you to the planet instead?
Very good phone, but the screen is ok for reflections, but it's always so so dirty compared to s23 screens. Even the one you're showing here is completely full of fingerprints
I gave my 24u away to my son and kept the 23u. I don't regret it. Much of what you said early on could be said for the 23u . I like the curved bezels and I can replace my anti reflective screen protector to refresh if need be. Your audience is comprised of many with many use scenarios. The ultra takes features to an extreme. That offers more range enough for which ever task it takes on. I look forward to the 25u . My note 20ultra 5G seems to be the blueprint for the s23u , minus a few tweaks n spec bumps. While some things get old and put out to pasture, my note 20ultra gets put in pocket n taken to work - the non administrative type.
My note20 ultra is still in good condition. My next upgrade may be the S26/S27 Ultra, depending on what AI and lens it provides, cause Samsung is now "squeezing tooth paste", the S25 Ultra is limited upgrade on lens. Samsung is not good on high-light control on night photography especially the over exposure of LED lights, let alone the back lighting on day light photography. I'll stick to Samsung cause the UI I love. Next two or three generation would meet my goal.
The S25 Ultra apparently does not bring any special new features so maybe it's time to change... Some Chinese brands are quite far ahead in terms of camera technology and battery technology
Things that disappointed me since launch: -Uncomfortable, not ergonomic. -Cameras are meh. -Screen has grain. -Screen has banding. -Screen has terrible uniformity which shifts around depending on brightness. -Screen has terrible viewing angles. -HDR is broken, see YT video. -AI and S-pen are completely useless gimmicks. -UI ocassionally has questionable design choices. I guess that's it. Otherwise it's great. But the cameras and display are just laughable for the 1500 I paid for it.
That's overdramatic. Cameras are top 5 if you count daylight, nighttime, video and selfie is easy top 5. Spen maybe useless for you,not for everybody. UI easily amongst the best well. Design top of the class, classy and timeless.
@andreaselia3668 Well I didn't say the cameras are terrible, just that they are "meh" for being the most expensive phone on the planet when I bought it. It's often kind of hit or miss, and judging by YT comparisons I often like the iPhone's photos a lot more. I do really like the 5X lens though. Just expected a bit more that's all. S-Pen is only useful for literal drawing, and there are few use cases for that. Maybe art, maybe drawing a concept of something, but that's about it, and for art there's better stuff to use, and you can just as easily use your finger for other simple drawings. Writing is better done with the keyboard. UI isn't bad indeed, just some design quirks that are typical for Samsung and should have been thought about a little better. Overall it's pretty flowy and intuitive though, yeah. And yes I love the design. Classy and clean indeed. Just a little uncomfortable due to size, weight, and mostly the sharp corners on the bottom. The screen though, while nice overall, should have been flawless. This screen has too many things wrong with it that no other phone ever has, and it's the main attraction and interaction with this phone of course. Very disappointing.

@@pkmemerman Yes, cause it has 5 serious issues, 4 of which are hardware, 1 is software. Grain (also called mura), color banding, weird uniformity issues that change depending on what's on screen and brightness, seriously narrow viewing angles, and HDR content gets messed with by software, resulting in a broken presentation. BTW can you see the other reply I posted to Andreas? I tried posting it twice but I can't see it.
One of the biggest flaws in terms of the Ultra line's design is its square edges. It's time to evolve, Samsung. Another point that makes many people not buy it is the quality of the photos and videos posted on Instagram. It's much inferior to the iPhone on Instagram.
Round edges are a confirmed leak about S25 Ultra. And ya I do agree about the quality of photos a videos...I truly hope they do some sort of improvement from last year

My S23 Ultra is still a good phone. My next upgrade is the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
Same here, but I will upgrade to s24 ultra
@Arc.UsmanYT awesome 👌 do you think will get the snapdragon 8 elite gen 2 chip or the exynos 2500 chip for the galaxy s26 ultra 🤔
@KurohanaDTatsumaki Sure it will be the snapdragon
@Arc.UsmanYT awesome 👌 then I'm a happy 😊 man then 😄 thanks 😁 😊
That's the spirit I want to see in people.

Fellow owner here. The camera is average at best due to their awful processing. Battery life could be better. Other than that perfect phone.
@jdinn32 I don't know how you're taking pictures, but mine come out spectacular!
@@fromann09The colors are extremely inaccurate due to Samsung's post-processing.

I've had my S24 Ultra since launch and love it! I was worried about losing the 10x zoom on the S23 Ultra, but the 5x zoom has been great! And I will be upgrading to the S25 Ultra at launch - for the best trade-in value and perks.

3X lense needs to be given a 50MP sensor. The s26 Ultra needs this. The UW, 5X, 3X must all have 50MP sensors
Got mine for Christmas traded in my 21U. After hearing about issues with the anti-glare coating issues i bought a high quality glass screen protector and then set it to more sensitively. The thumb print scanning is now less effective and the pen doesn't work as well...

I use a good case with a magsafe ring with a magnetic pop socket so I can remove it and mount in the car. I'm debating on attaching a mag charging cable with the tiny dongle but still debating 🤔

Agreed , it's heavy , thick and quite big, they should've made it a bit pocket friendly, otherwise i am enjoying my s24u very much
About the camera
I am a hobbyist photographer and had 4 year old Sony A6000 with potrait lens , and since cameras are not as portable as phone
I decided to sell it off , before Selling , i spent entire day clicking pictures with the camera then clicking same picture with S24U
The S24U gives atleast 90% of the A6000's quality
And in return , S24 is portable so i don't have to carry additional bag on trips , water resistant so i could click in rain , drop resistant with a spigen cover on (DSLRs are delicate )
So i think it was worth selling the camera
The money i got was used to buy a PS5 yaaay😅
I left my Sony full frame DSLR camera in the dehumid-cabinet due to the heavy weight. I use the Note20 Ultra most.
What are you doing with the phone now?
What are you doing with the phone now?

Listening is a skill
The only things i hate about this phone is the night pictures for people and can't turn off auto ai optimization for pictures
You can , with camera assistant app which can be downloaded from galaxy store
I love my S24 ultra. It will be a long time before I upgrade it.

It's power hungry in comparison to iphone, but charges quick. Is the solution a larger battery or more efficient chipset?
I thought I was nuts. Every review I saw said the power lasts for one to two days. It doesn't for me when I barely use it.
I am using a note 10 plus should I buy this or wait for the s25 ultra

Solid phone tbh, i game a lot on it and it still holds up 🗿👌
I gave my 24u away to my son and kept the 23u.
Things that disappointed me since launch:
-Uncomfortable, not ergonomic.

Dude called the dusplay laughable🤣 . This is thr best display on a smartphone period.
No upgrade till 27 ultra.
#TeamGalaxy 💪🏻💪🏻
S24U is not 100% flat. Still, minimal , tiny curvature is there. That is not positive. Waiting for the true flat screen with no b***t.
If Samsung would just fix their low light and motion photos with my kids I would switch from apple.
❤❤❤S24 ULTRA
Is perfect sharp display not like s 25 U or iphone 25 ultra
Aint no way I am upgrading mg S23 Ultra.
Why S23 ultra more brighter than S24 ultra it's make me crazy
this seems to have been fixed in OneUI 7 BETA

The effect of anti reflection
Nobody uses the maximum brightness.
Then you haven't used the Galaxy A12, the brightness is even lower ;)
Great phone. But my choice for this year is the z fold 6.
And ya I do agree about the quality of photos a videos...I truly hope they do some sort of improvement from last year
I also love my s24 ultra no need for me to buy the s25
😍
did i really get an answer deleted because i've given the source of my data which is another youtuber ?
take your dislike and lose a viewer xD
Not good at playing pubg 120 fps phone lags
S21U 16/512 -> S25U 16/512
First😂
The biggest issue with the S24 Ultra is its heavy weight, which has caused me significant wrist pain after 12 months of use.
