  • This is my second attempt at a behind-the-scenes stock video shoot: the veteran. The concept is simple. I put up a small display of my military memorabilia and then used the #zeapon micro 3 pons pan and tilt head to film these items as well as myself.
All good concepts should be simple. The concept here is: veteran, soldier, military, army, service, fallen comrades, killed in action, foreign war, conflict, uniform, medal, enlisted, noncommissioned officer, flag, patriotism, passport, rank, stripes, insignia, dog tags - depending on the specific clip.
I will let you know if any of these clips sell. Your comments, suggestions, tips, and constructive criticism is always welcome, and I try to respond to every comment. Please consider leaving me a "like" and subscribing. Click on that bell to be alerted to future content.
Have a nice day and good luck selling stock footage and photos.

Again, good stuff. I think you have some winners there. Have you ever considered rigging your slider for vertical moves? It can be tricky and depends on the weight capacity but that would give you some different shots. I've done it for some shots. Thanks for sharing.

I have done angles before but not vertical. If I take of the pan and tilt head, I bet it would work and it’s a great idea. Another good tip. Thanks. Work is sending me to the Middle East for 2-3 months and the slider is too much to pack. I’m going with a minimalist kit, but I will try that when I can.

Some good shots there, nice setup. With a static scene setup like that, how important does camera movement become? I guess you don’t want to have a clip with no movement because it’ll feel just like a photo. Cheers

I agree. There to be some movement if the scene is static.
