(4K) Purdue Aviation Day 2024

An annual event organized by students that is held at the Purdue University Airport in West Lafayette, Indiana. This year featured the A-10 Demo Team, KC-135 and F-16 aerial refueling demonstration, and a few F-16 passes. The show keeps growing in popularity and performers each year, so I can't wait to see what next year will bring.

That brings back memories from when i was in Germany, guarding missiles on pad.
Once in a while an A10 would come over some simulated attack runs.
He be so low that you could not see him till he clears the tree line. Then he would drop down lower while. crossing the clear cut area, was about 500 meters from the double high fence.
Durning those runs the realization on how out gunned you were, brings many different emotions.
