The prices these days are completely insane! What are the big brands thinking? Really everything revolves around money it's sick! people are getting poorer and poorer and fishing itself is getting sickly expensive.
U dont have to buy the most expensive ones
Had a look at these in my local tackle shop, and the do look very nice. But for me the prices of these three rod start-ups (not just Nash) are starting to get obscene.
If I bought all the gear that I get recommended on TH-cam channels these days id never catch a fish as I'd spend my life working to pay for these so called must haves ..no disrespect to the fella reviewing this he's doing a great job..😁👍

Will these catch me any more fish than my 10 year old Fox MX alarms? Doubt it.
I love how r3's have 'stood the test of time', I'm still using the original Delks, converted to use a remote, almost 30 years old.

Getting a set of these this week, took back the new delks after starting back buying everything again and despise the new delk design etc, Parkfield Angling Centre is sorting me these new R4's for 575 for 3 set and 3 night Glo indicators
I bought r3s in January brand new and one of the alarms drain the battery faster than the other so now I've got txi pluses and not had a problem
They come with 3 or 4 year warrant, should of just taken it back mate

@Adz youve obviously never owned a set ive got a set of r3’s and do alot of fishing and changed the batteries only once in two years

As an R3 user these look brilliant. Il upgrade one day when it's justifiable. Must say also the content coming from you guys has been brilliant lately. 🔥
As a R3 user what will you benefit from getting the R4. Literally the same job just more complicated
@@andyhook9602 which is why I said when it is justifiable... Meaning when they pack in etc. Having said that there will more than likely be an r5 by the time that happens !

Bought them last week worth every penny, no different to top of the range delks or fox alarms they are the cream of the crop and will last you a long time :)
As said above no different to fox prices and they actually offer more features. The RRP May be high but that's the same as anything. Realistically these can picked up for around 650 for 3 and a receiver which is in a similar bracket to the RX+.

I had both for testing here. I bought the Nash Siren R4. While testing a drop back the Delkims did not show the drop back clearly. Sure, you can put the Delkims on 100 sensitive, but you can not fish like that, since you would get false bleeps every minute by wind or waves.
Does it have a nite glow in leds and bobbin at nite or only when leds are activated thanks
It's a choice I if you buy them or not, nobody is forcing you to pay the price, these vary from £550 on FB to £699 on eBay. Myself I am Delkim man, but like the look of these, however like the TXI D the alarms are becoming confusing to use and this was one of the biggest criticism of Delkim and Nash have missed a trick really. I'll wait until people use them once and sell them on eBay for £450/£500 ish.
£840.00 for set o four !! wow... they nearly as much as an iphone but yet only about 1% as smart as one lol

Great review and I know you get what you pay for but surely there’s no way anyone can justify paying that price for alarms 😳
Nice alarms, but you have to laugh at the prices, christ on a bike.
There is nothing new in bite alarms now but somehow they think they can just justify £700 for a bite alarm set by adding a few gimmicks. Everything that they could have done with these they havent bothered to do, which means there is nothing to set them apart.
