I Payed $300 for my G29, Wonderful. Literally as much as a luxury as a BMW or mercedes. Didn;t even last two years. I took so much care of this. Not even a scuff on the leather wrapped wheel. didn't get detected at all. I Took it apart to find it's fine and I stripped a screw that happens to make the button almost disfunctional. I Met someone who had exact issue and he said he got a G27 and it was much better for him.
For me almost everything worked except the G HUB (it detected the wheel but didn't detect the steering). I had to uninstall the HidHide program (probably a DS4 Windows program) and it worked.

I solved the problem, it was a load volt problem, you just had to connect the steering wheel socket to direct current and not to a power strip so that it receives the necessary volt current, otherwise the calibration does not even work if it is recognized by the computer or the console
it doesn't work for me, for me the wheel doesn't calibrate and it has a green blinking light, when i try to calibrate it via windows it says that the clutch pedal is the wheel turning or something and G hub says that the wheel is at a 450 degrees turn while it isnt, i tried a lot of videos but nothing works
@@tauis4607 sadly no, i returned my wheel and bought a t300rs, its more expensive but trust me, its better, i never ever got issues with it, I've had it for a year now and its great, also the force feedback is better and it doesn't need some stupid software like g hub. It's the best advice i can give

I restarted my computer after trying each name, I verified the integrity of game files of The Crew 2 on Steam, nothing worked. When you go to the settings in the Crew 2, you don't see the blue buttons (L3, L2, R2, R3) on the key mapping. All the buttons are red and are labeled 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.

My G923 is being recognized, but the bindings are all empty. Even if I bind something, the buttons show up as weird icons and numbers. If the buttons are all mapped, the wheel seems to be working as intended(I hope), but I don't think it's supposed to be like this. On the UBI homepage, it says that I have to map the X button to Nitro, but that didn't do anything. It seems like it's being recognized as a generic "wheel", but not a Logi device.
@@HadiSOA I renamed the "Ghub something G923 something" to "Logitech G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel USB" (like in the video) and The Crew 2 recognized the wheel as a G29 and mapped all the buttons automatically. Since the button layout is exactly the same, I had no problem playing with it. The FFB also works, since it's not a trueforce compatible title. The issue is, after a PC restart, the registry keeps renaming the wheel to its default OEMname, so I created a reg file that I can use to rename the wheel anytime I want. I sent a video recording issue and the "fix" mentioned above, and they said they are going to investigate it. From this, two things came apparent. ・The G923 is just a G29 with a trueforce engine(or just the ability to use the trueforce api) ・The Crew 2 Determines which controller you are using by looking at the OEMname in the registry(as said in the video), and if the game doesn't have the exact same name in the code, it will recognize the wheel as a generic controller

Automobilista 2 doesn't have a good implementation of TrueForce compared to GranturismoSport(where you can literally hear the engine sound through the vibration of the wheel) to begin with, but I don't have any other games that support TrueForce on PC. You can change back the OEM name to default anytime you want, and even if you keep the OEMname as G29, I don't think most games look up that specific name to change the ingame settings, so I think you can leave the name as G29. Just remember that every time you restart windows, it reset's to the original name(at leas for me)

Hi, do you know if I can assign different commands to the wheel buttons. I can use the wheel in The Crew 2 on a PS4 but need to sign the buttons for example to look behind, left and right, send messages and select favourite vehicles without having to use the wireless controller. I can't see how to do this for the PS4/The crew 2. Any help appreciated.

And each update seems to break something totally unrelated that i have already fixed in the past. The sheer amount of laziness with pc devs nowdays is outta hand,and its spreading into the console space now as well. How on earth did we get to the point of spending $400 for a wheel and it being ok that the customer has to regedit just to get the thing working outta the box..

I have issues with g29 when turn wheel all buttons presses in same time i replace it 7 pin and same problem ,, pcb problem in g29

I have the same problem with Forza Horizon 4, every time I use the free look and rev my car it binds and stops or makes my wheels twitch.

I just bought the g29 . Used it for the first time for 30 minutes then took a break with it unplugged . I come back plug it in and its stuck/locked on turning left. On g hub and every game
And the wheel doesnt calibrate aswell

Hi, do you know if I can assign different commands to the wheel buttons. I can use the wheel in The Crew 2 on a PS4 but need to sign the buttons for example to look behind, left and right, send messages and select favourite vehicles without having to use the wireless controller. I can't see how to do this for the PS4/The crew 2. Any help appreciated.

$400 and still have to do shit like this to get it to work is a HUGE PROBLEM within the pc space.

@@MarkBrave992 i have a highend rig that i honestly do not even wanna turn on because its nonstop bombardment of updates either for windows,the lanchers,the apps,or the games everytime you turn it on.
And each update seems to break something totally unrelated that i have already fixed in the past.
The sheer amount of laziness with pc devs nowdays is outta hand,and its spreading into the console space now as well.
How on earth did we get to the point of spending $400 for a wheel and it being ok that the customer has to regedit just to get the thing working outta the box..
