Hi ... the first record I ever bought was TWBTD on a 78rpm record. I'm now 78(!) and still play in a roots, blues and R&R band. This is and Excellent lesson! Absolutely well done. I love that younger generations still dig this. ( These days I do it in G which works fine )

Here again Paul, hope your guitar journey is still going strong, I have come back to your lesson here as a refresher many thanks for keeping it up and I just love your covers of The Beatles, when they came to Aust, my mother got to see them perform and then go to the after party as a guest of the promoter..I will always be their Fanlike you and your Dad. Take Care

Your explanation of the breakdown of the guitar parts as played by Buddy in the original Key are exceptional mate.
There are a lot of lessons for "That'll Be The Day" on TH-cam but without doubt yours is the best that I've come across mate .

G'day Paul, I am back to polishing this off a bit now because I have joined a band as Lead Guitarist and your lesson above is really good. But when I watch you play the cover version of this song it looks like the solo is really faster than the lesson but I suppose we have to get it all in to keep in time. All Good . Take Care

Obviously Buddy want on the record. It was their first number 1 hit
