The jar you thought was a cream jar is a caviar jar. Nice to find a site with so many bottles, quite late though but keep looking and you may find some older bottles lower down

The oldest stuff is typically at the bottom (one of the laws of stratigraphy) however be wary of hitting clay and thinking you’ve reached the bottom as it may be a capping seam, if that’s the case you should hit an older layer underneath. Some tips will have several capping layers. I’d put test holes in several places and use a probe regularly as you dig down to know where the bottom is.
