Man, I just realized who you were. I have watched a lot of your videos. I don't know that I've ever commented on any but I sure do enjoy them. I use to do a lot of bottle digging in the late 70s but none to speak of the past few years. Thanks for watching the live feed on Gone Diggin the other night and good luck with you bottle hunting and your channel.
Heartbreaker Relics Hey that means a lot! I love arrowheads but have never been good at identifying ages and types. Would love to dig some great points if yall ever wanna collab let me know!
Last Hutchs in 2016, Ewa Bottling Works, H.T. Last soda a year ago, Waialua Soda Works Ltd. Bottle is not Sold. An early slug plate ABM with a few bubbles, 1913? Near gem shape. I dug a colored boy eating watermelon 8 or9 years ago here. Then a Maneki Neko-Japanese lucky cat.
I worked hard today digging a privy here in Galesburg, Il hoping to find a Galesburg bottle but didn't and you find one there and even broken that's awesome.
Very cool yacht club salad dressing bottle. I live on Lake Erie and we have a Yacht club that my daughter in law works at. I will have to look that bottle up on eBay and see if I can get her one. Is that a rare bottle for you to find?
Why do you insist on stabbing when a claw for the close scraping and for close use a white poplar staff? It's what I do after getting having broken too many good ones! Sucks to know I broke it!
Ive never broke a good one thankfully haha but the ash layer in this particular dump.is much harder than it appears. A claw will just slide off and a piece of wood would break.
Adventure Archaeology; ok, I cringe every time I see the shovel wedged against the bottles. Thank you for your prompt response to my query. I haven't enjoyed anyone's channel as much as I'm yours. I want to be there with you. Lived at Ft. Rucker for four years. I feel for you about the blood sucking little ba$turd$!
He is 88 years old, has an incredible collection from England and the US, but he bought every one of them. I showed him how the folks got them for his collection!
I wish I could do something like this I live in the country in ohio and there is a creek beside my house and I walk it once a month and get electric insulators and some barqs root beer bottles along with a lot of other bottles
Adventure Archaeology yeah I found a Vicks vatronol and it's kinda not a creek but a field drainage ditch but it's easy to walk and get arrowheads sometimes
Barry Wainwright I do walk it at least once a week but I'm not always looking for bottles.its about 1.5 inches deep right now it's hasn't rained for a while and it's more than 40 miles long and there's one spot where the bottles usually settle and I have to walk a mile to get there me and my dog go out for about 5 hours and grab anything old I tried metal detecting (I collect coins)and found a silver dime but it's a lot of work carrying everything back I will go out tomorrow and maybe mail u some of the bottles I get.
We never get tired of waiting for that bottle to pop out for you guys.....If I was not wearing gloves I would cut myself in the first minute...Elmo is luck-he only bleeds stuffing....lol
Barry Wainwright I just dont have anyone to film me while Im digging haha. So it looks one sided. Theres no way we would split the bottles evenly if I wasnt doing just as much work. Go back and look at the video that we timelapsed the hole dig and you will see how we evenly divide the work. Ill put the link of the timelapsed video below.
Dude this is awesome! I’m used to watching guys diggin crystals outta holes but this? That looks like a bunch of good times and modern relics. Nice brother! Noiiice!
Great video man. I went to an estate sale over the weekend and got 75 bottles for $30. All are from the late 1800s to 30s and I saw at least 4 of the ones I got come out of that hole. lol. The same chero cola, the Dr. bells, the Chattanooga medicine, and the tea & perrins Worcestershire sauce.
Caryn Schwengel You cant tell from the videos but most of the time we are tunneled back deeper than we should be. We use the longer shovels to extract bottles to keep from being buried alive in a cave in! That extra couple feet on the handle is enough to keep a couple tons of dirt off!
We found an old 1800’s dump that we keep finding embossed beautiful bottles. We don’t believe anyone knows about it. On the edge of a baseball field and a forest conservancy that was recently flooded, so more exposed recently. Any advice? I have been collecting old bottles for years before randomly finding this really close to my house!
Oooh, I realize this was a year ago, but I would dearly love to have that old iron skillet! Any time you guys find iron cookware, I’d love to have it. I’m a collector. Is there some way I could send you my information so that maybe you could remember me if you ever find anymore? Thanks!
Great video Brandon. Does Clayton every get excited? Lol Love watching you guys find these bottles. I'm really intrested in doing this digging. Now just finding the dumps. Until next time HH&GL *Chris*
Hey Adventure Archeology awesome bottle dig,and some great finds ( I thought it was fantastic) bottles are turning out to be one of my favorite things to find after gold and silver ,,lol we started to dig out and outhouse and at about 3 feet down there was a giant rock that we couldn't move so we will have to go back with some better tools, but my digging buddy says there's bottles down in there (swears)lol enjoyed the hunt and dig,,man you guys work hard,,good luck and happy hunting (BIG thumbs up from Alaska )
Metal detecting in alaska (keithie6) I appreciate that and if your talking about articdiggers hes a great guy! We have been talking on instagram for years!
That hole is sketchy af. I've never done bottle digging but missed some unexplored bottle dumps in the past. One I remember had a lot of soda bottles, all intact near where I lived as a kid. I bet it's still there. Those soda bottles were right on top of the ground practically.
Awesome bottle dig hunt and a good dig pays off indeed. Very well done and cracking finds indeed. Loving the Embossed bottles as always. ATB GL & HH LittleJohn Metal Detecting 🇬🇧
It's not quite as bad if you have someone with you who can dig you out if it happens. Might break something, but should live if you're careful. A lot more dangerous if you're alone I'm sure.
Yes! It’s been awhile, but I know the heat/rain is not ideal for digging. Awesome they caught that thief. It makes me furious that people feel they can take something that another person worked hard for.
you my friend have hoped urbanized, scouted, dug, pulled, recognized urban development, categorized, assessed, yielded, and you dream of expectations,it seems to me you've accomplished surpassing success.
Jeramy Bogue We pull out plenty unbroken..... but Clayton is definitely the wrecker out of us! Luckily I have never broke a good bottle. If i believed in luck i should be knocking on wood right now.

Thanks and we sure will.
Reminds me of digging with my mother when I was young. Now I do it underwater. Check out my videos if you like. Cheers
Some good finds enjoyed
I like slick meds
Nice dig!
That dude is a little reckless with his shovel

whats the deepest that youve found bottles?
14 or 15 feet.
How do you know where to find locations to dig? How do you know there are bottles buried somewhere?
Hey bruce here is a link to tell you how we find our dig spots! th-cam.com/video/DEkF2MT5JlI/w-d-xo.html
@@adventurearchaeology Thanks so much!
How do u find these public dumps?
So are you after soda bottles because they are the most valuable or is that just what you collect?
I worked hard today digging a privy here in Galesburg, Il hoping to find a Galesburg bottle but didn't and you find one there and even broken that's awesome.
Rockin Rick Hahaha isnt that how it works!!
How in the world do you find your bottle dumps. I can't seem to find any where to dig in st Clair County.
I'm new here, but I really enjoy bottle hunting videos. I keep looking at that yellow glop, is that dried fat and oil in the trash?
seems like that hole had alot more relics than usual. strange.
Frigglebiscuit Just depends on what was thrown and if the fires destroyed it through the years!
Awesome video. Keep on digging!
DetectingArizona I appreciate that and dont worry we will always keep digging!
Very cool yacht club salad dressing bottle. I live on Lake Erie and we have a Yacht club that my daughter in law works at. I will have to look that bottle up on eBay and see if I can get her one. Is that a rare bottle for you to find?
Very common!
badly for me my country doesn't allow locals to dig
Aww that stinks!
Why do you insist on stabbing when a claw for the close scraping and for close use a white poplar staff?

I spend a lot of time with an old timer who collected back in the day, showed him your channel and he's hooked, loved watching.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing! We seem to have a lot of older viewers and thats fine with me!

Sometimes creeks produce the best bottles!
Adventure Archaeology yeah I found a Vicks vatronol and it's kinda not a creek but a field drainage ditch but it's easy to walk and get arrowheads sometimes
If I had a creek with old bottles and stuff in it I would be walking it at least once a week and not once a month.
I have a blue 8 sided bottle I want to send you.. it has Charleston embossed on it...how would I get a pic to you?
My email is brandonn1987@gmail.com that is the best way!
You can send a picture to somebody by going to their profile page and clicking on message.
Do you have Facebook men 👍
We do, just search Adventure Archaeology and Southern Diggers.
Ok
I like your method much more than Clayton's haphazard shit show. Hopefully he learns patience.
We never get tired of waiting for that bottle to pop out for you guys.....If I was not wearing gloves I would cut myself in the first minute...Elmo is luck-he only bleeds stuffing....lol
Lol we do get cut from time to time.
How come your bottle digger looks like a levi commercial while the diggers I know look like shrek on a wanted poster?
🤣🤣😎
He's doing all the work in the hole with the shovel. You're just making the video and talking.
Barry Wainwright I just dont have anyone to film me while Im digging haha. So it looks one sided. Theres no way we would split the bottles evenly if I wasnt doing just as much work. You know if that hole caves in, he most likely wouldn't get out alive! Dangerous!
That's why you dont dig a hole like that , you trench it.
Must say that was quite enjoyable
Digging Canuck I appreciate that!
Nice finds!
Thanks!
Great Vid as always. Not to many guys are out digging in this heat. U all deserve a Diggers of the year award.
How come you guys don’t use a small shovel or small weeding tool get things out one you expose part of the bottle?
Caryn Schwengel You cant tell from the videos but most of the time we are tunneled back deeper than we should be. We use the longer shovels to extract bottles to keep from being buried alive in a cave in! That extra couple feet on the handle is enough to keep a couple tons of dirt off!

Nice! Looks dangerous that much weight up above ya
Squatch Thumper It is for sure! Tons of soil but we do our best to be as safe as we can. But its still risky!
Gotta love those medicine bottles and that tiny leg!!
Always get nervous when one of y'all are under there for fear of a cave in. I know you know what you're doing but I just can't help it, lol.
It's not quite as bad if you have someone with you who can dig you out if it happens. Might break something, but should live if you're careful. A lot more dangerous if you're alone I'm sure.

u might be able to pull out a full unbroken bottle if you didnt use your damn shovel
Jeramy Bogue We pull out plenty unbroken..... but Clayton is definitely the wrecker out of us! Luckily I have never broke a good bottle. If i believed in luck i should be knocking on wood right now.
