I have the all steel full sized version of this gun. I paid 320 for it 4 years ago. It is without any doubt the finest pistol I have. Flawlessly reliable and incredibly accurate. The only con is that it is a little heavy and too large for everyday concealed carry. The trigger is like butter in double action and amazing in single action. Just a complete joy to shoot. Say what you want about the Turkish but they make a great gun.
I had a Baretta 9mm and it was twice the price just as accurate but, it actually jammed where the SARS didn't. I think the Sars is the perfect size and perfect weight and I have small hands and I'm of tall and slim frame. The Barreta is twice as heavy as the SARS and that's the reason I got rid of it years ago. It felt like a cannon banging up against my rib when using my shoulder holster when I carried off duty. I love shooting the SARS which cost me $300 brand new at the gun show. It's difficult finding a holster though.
My buddy got one of these for his first gun, and with my bag gun being a CZ-75 P07 which I happened to have with me when he showed me his buy, I was impressed. I feel like it reeeeally needs to be broke in though. The recoil spring on these is super strong. Love the fit and finish on it though
I have the b6 full size and I love it shot well over 1200 rounds through it and has ran flawless I also own a taurus g3c and I carry the sar over the compact it's that much more reliable
I’ve carried the previous gen (B6P compact) and put roughly 2k rounds on it. It’s had a perfect track record with a wide variety of ammo. Absolutely no hang ups at all. Look on eBay I found talon grips about 3 year ago and it definitely was worth the low price and helped the way it felt in the hand. The only week spot on mine was the magazine has moderate surface rust after 7 years of carry. Never affected how it shot, just made reloading the mag a bit grimey.
Have both the B6 models and four more different ones....just picked up the P8 L today....talk about a sweet pistol....I don't think any gun companies are returning much e-mail now nor when you published this video......dang COVID....I do like Canik, Girsan and Tisas also. Nice Video....
Just bought mine today. Held off a few days as I couldn't find any warranty information on the Sar firearms. Lucked up earlier today be fore buying. I had called and left a message on one of the many ph. numbers and got a call from a guy named Felix. My caller ID read the number being out of Miami Fla., also got an e-mail from him. Said that the warranty was 1 year on parts and labor from date of purchase Can either call ( 1-305-392-1388) or e- mail ..Felix@sarusa.com for the link to register forearm for warranty..gonna wait till Mon. myself
May 2022 price point is still really Really good. You can find this piece under $3hundy. Out of the box...you may find the B6C is 'heavy' with MFG. shipping grease. Every new firearm I purchase; My first step is to take it down and get the MFG. Goober-grease off. B6C take down was a bit convoluted. I reference the manual everytime anyhoo, but, there was some hand-gymnastics involved. Their is a dual recoiil spring...spring inside-a-spring, first I've seen that. Must be a CZ thing. the action manually is very stiff...I'm sure there is a break in period and this will losen up. The slide-pull "ribs" are very aggressive, you won't lost grip. I was disappointed in the Fac'tree, plastic mag. & mag release. push the release and the Fac'tree mag barely drops a 1/8".
I bought the full size B6 and although it's meaty, it's definitely a solid 9mm pistol. Well worth the money, and promags make a 32 Rd CZ mag that worths fine.
I just ordered one. I plan on modifying the baseplate because I don't like the way it juts out of the bottom. I need to find or modify a compatible mag that fits flush against the bottom to make the overall height shorter and cleaner looking.
I use a B6P compact for summer carry. It shoots many brand without any problems that I bought for $213.00 before Biden times. The only drawback is you can only use 9mm & not +p. But I get 13+1. These days the criminals run in groups.
@@ShootWellAndOftenSWAO Sorry my mistake it was the SAR9 here is the article. And it wasn't 60,000 it was 5 years and 90,000 rounds. www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2018/5/31/tested-sarsilmaz-sar9-pistol/
I have that exact gun, but I only shit 1000rouds at the range w/o any jams and it shot just as good as my barretta and more accurate than my boys Glock and at half the price. Got it at a gun show off an army ranger and he said, you're going to see slot more of Turkish made weapons here in the US bc they're not machine factory made but created by hand by the owner in a factory. For $300 brand new I took a chance and I'm happy with it. It's a nice piece to defend yourself with and it shoots fast enough for a semi automatic. I don't wanna shoot to fast and be inaccurate. I was taught in the military two to three rounds per burst with side arm or rifle
I use to have one I miss it so much it's so comforting to a shooter the trigger pull is superb have to the that number one feature that hammer ughhhhhhhhh
I held this gun before and it looked amazing, the quality was spectacular. The only gripe I had with it was the non-replaceable grip; I have XXL sized hands and I could not get a very good grip on it edit: The pistol grip is very thin (left-right) and very short (tip-b*tt)
i own one and honestly.....nice grip, feels fine but...i wish it have lot more, like when you need to shoot fast you can´t ,it feels like the trigger loses its mechanism before the slide comes back in ,and it fits at its place. its like this mechanism just permit you to shoot one per second, when real life combat don´t ....... by the way greetings from HONDURAS!,and thank god for tell the new.the good thing about this pistol is that the sarsilmaz killing 2000 have a longest barrel and you could exchange with B6c (surprisingly fits perfect) to put a muffler on it!if you know what i mean 😈😈
@@ShootWellAndOftenSWAO Thanks for the reassurances I really want to like this gun since I don't have much money and it would suck to start off with a faulty gun.
2,000 rounds here without a single issue. Ignore that video. He was using dirty junk ammo. Use 124 or 147 grain clean ammonia and you won’t have a problem. Great gun!
Looks nice for a primary defense if that’s what you can get-polymer for schweaty carry, lol. I guess I’m in the boomer school of paying more for metal if I’ve already got the basics met.
Good informative video. Been looking at one of these but cant find out anything on how to register for warranty at all. Not sure about customer service either. Have you gotten a reply from your e-mail you sent them? It all seems kinda shady..
@@williamcousins3079 gun is long gone. Turned out the sights weren't the issue, the barrel was. The sample size of one I had was wildly inaccurate. Verified in a ransom rest before you want to say it's because I have no knowledge.
I bought two MecGar 16 round capacity mags for my B6C and they aren't functional on the range. I had to cock after every round fired to load another round into the chamber. I'd be curious to know if anyone else has had this issue with other MecGar capacities because the mags fit, but they're basically a waste of money for me at this point.
@Omar Slim Kind of gave up on the B6C. If the aftermarket support isn't there and I end up needing a repair part of some kind, the gun will end up being too much trouble for me to enjoy it. I went through that with Canik. Fortunately, Caniks have become popular enough that most stuff can be found. However, still can't get an extended magazine release from Canik. try the SAR B6C the smaller and lighter version
I've had this one and full size model for years super reliable great ergonomics and for 250 bucks you are not going to find anything better.
I can’t argue with that. Very impressive

would you consider it good for a cc?
As long as you like compact/midsize guns it is fine
Whats prise ???
Is there a way to switch that safety to a decocker?
I hear you have to decock it by your the thumb. The Barretta has the decocker. But, thumb works just as well as long as you let it down slowly
talon grips make some to fit buy them for a cz
Spoiler: nothing went back to normal after the Covid panic.
