Great music, Great vocals, Great guitars, Great drums, Great bass, Great band. GREAT WHITE!!
They’re one of those 80s bands that had that glam look but did NOT have a glam sound. Much too bluesy and gritty. Kind of like Warrant or Tesla.
Her reaction at 8:06 is great. You see her mouth "wow." Even the younger generation knows great music when they hear it. I doubt anyone goes wow to any rap puke.

He sounds like Led Zepplin's Robert Plant... It's soooo damn good to see these two listening and realizing the powerful, amazing music from the past. 99.9999% of SOULLESS, EMOTIONLESS rap SUCKS except 2Pac's awesome Cali Love and a couple Tone Loc songs. 2Pac was very talented!! I joke that's why he was killed: because the wannbe crappers were jealous of his talent.

The superb vocals of Jack Russell and bluesy rock of Great White. These guys were IT in the late 1980s.
As big as they were, they were still underrated.
This is why I requested "House of Broken Love" first. It makes this song better.
I remember seeing them live not long after this song came out. I was on the floor level around the 20th row & 3/4 left of center and when the drummer hit that first kick I could literally feel it in my chest! You could feel a slight breeze in your hair and see the smoke in the air move every time he hit the kick. Back then most all concerts were general admission and smoking was allowed.
I saw them, White Lion, and Whitesnake in March 1988. It was a great concert, better than I originally expected

I'm amongst of the lucky few who got to see Great White live in concert. I went to see Kiss in November 1992 who were recording their Kiss Alive 3 album and Great White was middle on the bill, while Trixter was opening. This particular track was first on the radio around September 1987. I remember being in my 7'th grade science class and our teacher would play the radio during study hall

You guys have done a fantastic reaction and i honestly enjoyed it. I live when someone is willing to take a chance on older music. Great White was a supremely talented band. Jack Russel is honestly one of the nicest people I have ever met. Always good to the fans and then there's his voice, he honestly sounded as good live as he did in the studio. FWIW, Great White were known, among hard rock fans, for pulling off really decent Zeppelin covers. I think they did "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" on some all acoustic show. But the guys all had the chops to pull off Zeppelin.

The only 80's "hair band" I still listen to on a regular basis, because blues is timeless.
They're not a "hair band". Great White is a bluesy hard rock band. Long hair does not make one a "hair band", otherwise Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Testament, Overkill, etc should be called hair bands. Such a dumb label. There is glam which is what people usually mean by hair. Sadly, any group with long hair in the 80's got labeled with that ridiculously dumb title.

This band kept changing its members like a baby changed its diaper Coverdale was always the reason back in 1980s and had tantrums, I was talking to their Sound guy who was ticked off as he had booked the flight to Germany (said he was lucky to find work with a band called Econoline Crush at the time, was used to Coverdale''s tantrums) and they broke up before the tour could start it was another reunion tour.

Lady is not in the band. She is in the music video. And she's smok'n in it. I had slept on this band too until I found out about this song. Rocks me every time.
Dee says " I like the girl on the cover she's very beautiful" Don't worry or think anything of it Dee, you have her by a mile. Chod you are a lucky man to have someone that is as open minded, intelligent and beautiful as Dee. Women that like Rock/Metal seem to me, and I might be wrong, to be some of the smartest women on the planet. They don't judge first...They listen and make up their own mind on what they like....Not what their friends are listening to.
Desert Moon and Old Rose 🌹 Motel are virtually unknown songs by GW. Some of their best stuff.
Desert Moon is unreal! My absolute favorite song of theirs. By a long shot.

That bass line reminded me of a Pink Floyd song, the name of which escapes me at the moment. Just a fantastic R&R song. Underrated band. Dee, they can’t say f me so they say rock me. Chod is right on this one. 😀

Man I used to jam to this. I still have the CD’s. Then I discovered Robert Cray in 87 & was into Eric Clapton & Stevie Ray Vaughan. Then Stevie died. I was still morning Stevie when I heard this song called “Man in the Box”. Times were changing. I still have all that music along with AIC, TOTD, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam. I’m old school I have all my favorites on backup. Including this one.

They are underrated. The first hit was not representative of their body of work. It was a little more cheese. The rest…great! House of Broken Love, Save Your Love, The Angel Song.
BADASS band. Hate the blemish on their legacy...it was a tragic accident. Pyro at a show ignited and killed many fans. Nice to see the music living on. The band was NEVER the same.
They used to play Rock Me late at night on the loudspeaker, when Food 4 Less first opened up by my place in 1990 at Sun Valley. You guys should probably react to Great White’s biggest hit “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” next time. Btw, that was the very first time I ever saw Food 4 Less. I thought it was awesome, because the prices were so cheap, yet they had the same stuff as Ralph’s, just less of a selection, and bagging your own groceries was new to me. That was 32 years ago.
