Sorry for your loss Luke. I am sure your Nan and Gramps are looking down on you, and are very proud of what you do. I lost my grandparents many years ago, but still think of them, and my Grandad although a builder by trade, also had a few tipper lorry's which my Dad used to drive for him. Keep on trucking mate, Gramps is proud!
24:53 perfectly natural to be upset especially passing his old home. My nan passed away 2 years ago. I worked with UPS shortly after and I had to deliver to a crematorium within a year of carrying my nans coffin to the alter... I just broke down in tears when I arrived and while delivering to the customer. They were completely supportive but it is hard for the early days. Love your videos , keep on truckin !! :)

My late brother in law was an HGV driver. I loved him and respected him. We never had a cross word. Losing family is a cross we have to bear. (My late Wife especially) love to you and your family.

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandad Luke. I was exactly the same when my lovely Tom passed away in August 2019. I couldn't even talk as I was so choked up. Even now, after 31/2 years, I can talk to people about him and I can be ok, but on odd occasions, even now, that something just stops me, and I just can't talk as I'm so choked up.
My nan passed very recently, I feel you man, it’s a sad time. Sending my regards. On a side note - would be awesome to see you in the entertainment world, touring with bands etc! 🤟🏻
I never knew something could be so fn hard but lost my dad in December and the regret of thinking about things we could have or should have done is so difficult to comprehend and accept we really don't take ppl seriously when they alive and that hits you like 2 tons of bricks when they gone

I never knew my grandfather as he died when I was 18 months old but I do treasure a photo I have of him with me on his lap. His wife passed away when in 1994 and I think of them very often. Do not feel as though you did not see him often enough as he knows the life of a truck driver and how busy you are. Think on the good times you did spend with him and that should see you throughthe heartbreak.

Condolences mate, this is one of the loneliest jobs mate when you have received bad news. Been there many times with just your own company to reflect on situations. RIP.
That coolant issue is odd as surely a mechanic would very easily be able to fix it by replacing the sensor also I would have assumed you could simply pull the fuse or disconnect the speaker for the audio alert. So sorry to hear about your grandad, I'm not close to my grandad and he recently got diagnosed with alzheimers and although at first I didn't really react to it while telling a friend it hit me real hard. It took me a bit by suprise as I barely talked to him due to a disagreement we had several years ago.
Hi Luke I was a truck shutter for 20 years sadly they closed the depot and made us all redundant.I ended up working for a funeral home driving the hearse and working my way up to funeral director.a bit of a change from driving a class one vechice .anyway I ended up helping people like you that have lost a close family member.always remember the good times I feel your pain.I love your vids keeps me going. My grandma, uncle and grandad passed away within 60 days back in 2019 and I had to move house on the day of my grandma's funeral, sent me into depression and anxiety and I completed my hgv in jan this year and start my new class 1 job on the 20th of this month.
