Dude. NOBODY out-guns Lzzy Hale when it comes to the pipes. There is no higher power, so to speak. I grew up listening to Pat. Her voice was great, really nice and growly, and quite a bit of power for a female in the 80s. But Lzzy could blow a hole in a wall, brother. This video shows nothing in terms of what she's capable of. Look up her live set Halestorm live from Download. The first song might kill you.
She rocks. I love her voice and how she can really scream. I also love her laugh at the end. Clearly they're having fun which is what music's all about.

I didn't know of Halestorm until recently - my teen daughter is a big fan - they paid a helluva tribute/homage here to Pat & Neal. This is probably the most important song to Pat & Neal they've ever written. Halestorm just did a *great* job with it, giving it their own little spin yet staying true to the original. Pat & Neal would be proud, I'm sure - and so should you Halestorm!
I like how Lzzy jams with other people on tunes and even though they have their own material the band will rip on some other people's tunes. Halestorm kicks ass.

Lzzy is a rare breed like Hetfield, Stanley, Knopfler, that can do lead vocals and lead or dual-lead guitar AT THE SAME FRICKIN TIME. non-musicians have no clue how much more talent it takes to do both at a world-class level at the same time.

I like to think Lzzy is the RAW Pat. Either way,..., I would love to see a concert with both of them,.., not as competitors,.., but a melding of two truly wonderful talents and actually,..., talents that need to come full circle together. It would truly be a magical show for sure, they are both so wonderful!

this band is from town and area I'm in kewanee Illinois we also had suzy boguss who start out at happy Joe's then made it big in Nashville in the 80's
if you skip rope while watching this, or do jumping jacks, it balances it all out and makes it almost watchable.
