If Civivi ever puts button lock on Brigand is Protech Malibu is in trouble
And better blade steel
Great comparison! The Civivi is definitely in my price range!
just received my malibu. talk about underwhelming. where did all this hype come from?
You should come back man. You did some good reviewing.
Great reviews I'm glad I found your channel.
Great stuff as always
I have a Malibu and am looking for the Brass scaled Brigand at the moment. I've heard this blade shape as a reverse tanto, modified Wharncliffe, and also a modified sheepsfoot. But I've always considered this to be a Seax, although smaller.
Both are beauties! I prefer larger blades so I would buy the Brigand. The Malibu is pure eye candy. Cheers mate! Good vid….
Both very nice blades. Personally I prefer a bit larger blades, so in that case my preference should go to the civivi. But the Malibu has more cutting edge, so a more practical blade size wise.
Also I like the looks of the Malibu better. But that price....😓
Yeah, you could buy two Brigands and have enough left for a good meal.
@@ThePocketPerspective exactly 😎
I just bought both of these lol. Blue Malibu and a copper handle 154cm blade brigand.
Awesome comparison Wes. Love the malibu and that button lock but the civivi got the looks and price 🤣👌
Tough choices...😀
Sweet comparison dude!
Thanks again for the loaner!
Awesome comparison and with those one I can say it’s genuinely as apples to apples.l as it gets in the knife world.
One is an amazing knife with an amazing lock. The other is a civivi.
I'm not sure what you mean by this but civivi knives are good
👍🏽
Who is copying who?
Civivi is a Chinese company so…
@@davidnalls8628 Just say you're not sure.
The Malibu is newer.
Chinese vs American. Easy decision
Brigand all day. My hands are XXL. The Malibu just doesn't make the cut, especially its price! My gosh! Way overpriced IMHO.
ProTech just hits different. Top notch.
